One of The Tribe

I'm not there either. Just saw that on FB.

Anybody?

Go Indians !

I agree with you on the resume, but I WOULD NOT want him on my sideline. Sorry. JMO. Not at all a fan of him or his way of running the program.

He's the biggest crybaby I've ever seen. Whines and cries about every call. Embarrassing.

GO Fleming Co !

Bingo ! I believe you hit the nail on the head !

Some posts have been removed.

Holmes got their first lead on a goal tending call with :43 seconds left and led till Humphey's 3 hit bottom with under 1 second left.

And,what were your thoughts about it while you were watching ?

I have no idea who their best player is or whether he played or not. And, I'm not upset about a loss to the #1 team in the state considering MC graduated all 5 starters from last year and 7 out of the first 8 in last years rotation. Only 2 of MC's players even saw the floor last year and that was for very limited minutes. What I do know is I was proud of MC for their effort for all 32 minutes. If I was sitting on the other side I would be embarrassed at my team for laying down and refusing to "compete" for the win. And, in case you missed the point of the thread, a shot clock would advance the game forcing "both" teams to continue to play until the game is over.

"Wireless"

They did and forced a few turnovers. You seem to be missing the point. If you ever notice people will get up and go to the bathroom or concession stand during halftime. That's because no one wants to stare at the floor with "no basketball being played". People attend basketball games to watch basketball being played. Again this started at the 3:40 mark. And again.... it is time for a shot clock in HS basketball.

Why do you think college and NBA have a shot clock? To advance the game. No one is interested in watching a game that isn't a game.

How is not playing basketball during a basketball game sad ? Really ?

....when a team starts holding the ball with 3:40 left in the game. That's the only way the visiting team could stop Madison Central's comeback tonight. Sad.:isurrender:

It works in college and in the NBA. No reason not to use it it high school.

Disagree.

Yes, Ken-jah and his family are from Richmond. Ken-jah lived here as a kid then moved to Indy due to a family situation, then back to Richmond as a Sophmore. He became a starter for Central a year later in his Junior year. Pictured below is a Madison Middle School team which includes Dominique Hawkins, George Walker, Quan Taylor, and Daniel Parke, all starters on the Championship team. Call me touchy if you want, but facts are facts.

No, he moved here. Only the 2nd time in 10 years I've seen a non Richmond kid on the team. This includes the Championship team. To each his own, Scott Co. has been doing it for years. I, for one, am not impressed when a "assembled" team like that gets wins. Just not impressed by it. Hardly think 11 was recruited to play here. He had 3 points. How many points were scored by the tranfers on your team ? 54-3=51. I'll let you do your teams math.

Looking forward to trying again if there is a game #3. I'll be there rooting on our good ole' homegrown kids that grew up right here in Madison County. The wins mean a lot more when it's done that way. Not trying to start anything just being real.

It was a 3-9 point deficit most of the game. Much closer than the final score sounds. Montgomery has too much size for Central, and Central didn't play well at all.

Daniel Parke graduated last year and is now playing for Transylvania. He played a few minutes against the Cats back in the exhibition game.

Central lost their first 6 and from last year. Demarcus George and Sam Jones are returning but played only limited minutes last year. I think George did get 1 start in the Sweet 16 when Quan Taylor was benched for being late to practice.
