  1. Madison Central had 3 players (including Quan Taylor) foul out in the loss to Russell Co.
  2. Ask and you shall receive! That's close.
  3. Would like to see the stat line when they played each other. So it's apples to apples.
  4. Only 1st graders will fit between the lines painted on the bleacher seats. Still there's no way 1800 were empty. Sounds like some of the math they use in Washington these days !:idunno: Great game. There's definitely been 2 different HC teams on the floor this year, but there was no doubt which one we would get last night! Not looking forward to facing Green, Grundy again year though! Congrats to HC.
  5. Hawkins really has no weak areas to his game. If he was 6'3"(even though he jumps like he is) he could go play anywhere.
  6. Yeah, he's not ready yet ! We had him about a week before that game and he called an over and back foul and the ball hadn't gotten to mid court yet. The player was probably 6 feet away from the line ! Everybody laughed all night about that one. People were yelling "over and back" all night when he got anywhere close to the bleachers. Funny.
  7. That is in a nutshell. Dominique gets the job done ! He can drive, shoot, free throws almost automatic, solid D, rarely fouls, and and when they need a bucket, he finds a way. Great kid too. You'll never see him strut around and celebrate, he makes a play and gets back to the other end ready. No way I'd let him get away. UK needs somebody like Dominique. What he gives up in size he makes up for in ability. He jumps like he's 6'5" !
  8. Nice bounce back from the Russell Co. loss.:thumb:
  9. The Richmond Register has Quan listed as one of the 3 starters who fouled out. I agree 0 points sounds strange !
  10. Not a bad wake up call going into tournament time. What was the difference in the players fouling out? No MC players have fouled out at any of the games I've attended this year.
  11. Wow. Really the loss was the Refs fault ?:ohbrother:
  12. Payback usually implies they were wronged in some way.
  13. Payback? For what? A loss last year on a neutral floor ? I'm Confused ?????
  14. Henry Clay is a very good team and fun to watch, but too much "Indians" in the 2nd half. Very, very poorly officiated game as well.
  15. Dominique Hawkins has to be Top 3 without doubt. Would love to see him get it. Great kid ! No showboating, just results !
  16. Quoted from Coach Feldhaus in the Richmond Register We’ve had some different people at recent games. There’s someone there almost every game,” Feldhaus said. “There’s still not at much interest as I think there should be.” Dominque Hawkins reportedly already has offers from Western Kentucky, Morehead State, Murray State and several other out-of-state Division I mid-major schools. Tennessee is the biggest school to show serious interest in the Central point guard. Members of the Volunteers’ coaching staff were in Richmond to watch Central’s game last Saturday against Holy Cross.
  17. That's what I was thinking.........??!!!:idunno:
  18. Madison Central's Quan Taylor was on the bench, but not dressed as well.
  19. I've seen it both ways. I took my spelling from the Madison Co. Schools website.
  20. Dominic Hawkins scores 2,000th point. He is now Madison Central's all time leading scorer surpassing Aaron Morris with 1980. If my memory serves me correctly Aaron over took former Cat Marquis Estill for the honor:thumb:. Congrats to Dominic!!!
  21. Thought Madison Central would be a little higher with losses to Top 5 Nationally ranked Travis Tx.(7 pts, away), #1 Ballard (2 points, away), and a split with #3 Bullitt East (6 point win and 6 point loss, both away) along with quality wins such as#6 Fairdale, #13 Montgomery Co., #15 Collins, and #19 St X all on the road.
  22. Glad to see the Indians hanging tough even with Hawkins and Taylor out. That means a lot looking at the big picture. Way to go Indians !:thumb:
