Trinity loses, but gets moved to #1?! It's still hard for me to stomach that no team in the 4th is anywhere close in thee rankings. This may be the weakest the 4th has been since the 07-08 season.

Who's good in the 4th?

Litkenhous Ratings are hilarious.

Who's good in the 4th?

"Good"? Russell County, Warren East, and Warren Central are probably the best three. But these three, along with BG, Russellville, Clinton County, and Barren County can all beat each other on any given night. No team has risen far above everyone else, no team is dominant by any means.

Who's good in the 4th?

Warren Central and Bowling Green are both okay, but not at the level they have been at recently. Russell County has a nice team, but they've never been able to break through and win the region since they moved in a few years back. Warren East and Barren County are having their best years in a while, but I don't know where that puts them in the statewide conversation.

Bottom line, we're used to the 4th Region generating a team that gets talked about across the commonwealth and that just isn't happening right now.

In the Litkenhouse rankings, what teams have the most wins versus the current top 20?

In the Litkenhouse rankings, what teams have the most wins versus the current top 20?

From my quick run through of schedules, it looks like the following:

-Bullitt East and Madison Central each have SIX wins over teams in the Top 20

-Ballard, Bryan Station, Henry Clay and Trinity each have FOUR wins over teams in the Top 20

-St. Xavier has THREE wins over teams in the Top 20

-Collins, Henderson County, Hopkinsville and Paul Dunbar have TWO wins over teams in the Top 20

Litkenhous Ratings are hilarious.

They may be funny this time of year but toward the end of the season, I think they are pretty accurate.

With respect to Trinity, all I can offer is that their opponents must be kicking some butt, leading to a strong SOS.

Trinity's only losses to Kentucky teams are last week's three-point loss to No. 11 St. Xavier and a two-point loss to No. 4 Henry Clay back in December.

And as was pointed out above, the Shamrocks hold four wins over teams currently in the top 20 (Hopkinsville, PRP, Collins and NCC).

Above to the left I listed the top 20 wins for each of these schools. The most suspect rankings based on that look like PRP is too high with zero top 20 wins and St. X (3) and Bryan Station (4) are too low.

Holmes has 2 top 20 wins over CCH and NCC
