  1. Bolden is very good. Dribbles too much, but he'll learn as he ages. Seen the mixtape. Seen Hawkins whole career. If you're basing your opinion of Hawkins only on what you saw in Rupp, you really don't know him or his game. He had a very poor shooting performance at Rupp. Dominique does all the things you need to win games. Some are big, some are small, most don't look "flashy" on a "mixtape". Either way I'll take him in UK blue, and as you've seen, so will Cal.
  2. So, Bolden has offers from Xavier, Purdue, and Ohio U. Dominique had offers from UK, Purdue, Western Ky, S. Carolina, Morehead, Murray St., and Wright St. as well as interest from Tennessee and Butler. Explain to me how you think "Most College coaches" think Bolden has more talent than Hawkins. I can't wait to hear your logic on this one !
  3. In case you missed it, Hawkins is a Senior and he got a scholarship to UK ! Unlike You, most people were able to recognize his talent. Also, did he not outscore Bolden as well as beat Bolden's team in the Sweet 16. You "really" need to pay attention to what you're posting.
  4. Hawkins had 29. The Harrisons combined for 28. Central lost by 6 pts. and usually hot shooting Bosley went 0 for 9 on 3's that game.
  5. Dominique has always played basketball. He didn't start playing football till his junior year.
  6. Bolden is a good player, a little out of control, but he still has time to learn. He's probably a nice kid, but based on his fan base on this site I'm having a hard time liking him. If you really like him, you would be doing him a huge favor to back off and quit turning everyone against him like you have done me.:puke:
  7. You must have missed the "final" score ! lol. Dominique didn't have a great game against Holmes, but still outscored Bolden and won the game. Sounds like sour grapes to me.
  8. So, I guess everyone else is wrong and you are right ? Wow! Also, if you're basing your opinion of him only on what you saw in the tournament, you've been misled. That is some of the worst shooting games he has had this year. Just think of what he would have done if he was on !
  9. Ole' ennam's not making too many friends on this board is he? I'd love to see someone who has the the never quit mindset of a winner in UK blue. I'll be a fan of Dominiques wherever he goes. Good luck DH!
  10. Here is the pic of our "homegrown kids" after winning the middle school state championship !
  11. I heard he moved here his soph year also. For all I know he is from Ky moved to Indiana, then moved back. I do know that on Senior night, he we escorted a large family including parents, sister, Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents. Doubt they drove in from Indiana on a Tues. night for that. As for the coach's interview, had just won a state title and was speaking to thousands and media and was probably not reading a script. He could have messed up. If your roster of about 20 kids has one who moved from another state, I'd say homegrown kids is a pretty accurate statement the way things work these days. Why don't you congratulate them on there hard work and move on. Now I answered your question, now you answer mine. What school do you support ? Are any of your schools kids from another area ? I'm guessing it's one who the Indians beat and now you're trying to get something started that isn't there. Congrats to the Indians. Job well done !
  12. From another thread on this board, Here are the situations in which KHSAA Player transfer rules apply: Players with varsity experience at one school moving to another. Players just entering high school or even who spent their freshman year at one school and moved to another have every right under the rules to change schools as long as they have no varsity experience.
  13. Were they enticed to come here to play basketball, or did their families move here and they went out for the basketball team ? Big difference. If I remember correctly Quan didn't even begin to get minutes until the middle of his 2nd season. Neither were starters on the team.
  14. The last free throw was his original 2nd free throw. The middle free throw or the "re-do", he missed. There was only "gain" from his rightful 2nd free throw, not the re-do.
  15. Dominique was my prediction for 2013 Mr. Basketball when he was a Freshman in 2009.
  16. Boz was already a hero to Central fans before that shot !!!
  17. Big difference being "someone in the crowd" versus the "official scorer". Still no gain for MC. He missed the re-do as well.
  18. So now the argument has switched back to 2010/2011 season ? What about when they were in the 6th grade, or 3rd? We're talking about the present. Now. 2013. I'll say it again, Bolden is a nice player. It's a shame that some people refuse to respect the talent of any player's not on your own team. Luckily, he does have the respect of those that matter. Good day !
