Central has now played three consecutive games against 10th Region opponents:

 

* Beat Harrison County on the road, 77-72.

* Beat George Rogers Clark at home, 71-67 in double overtime.

* Lost to Montgomery County at home, 64-62.

Wallace leads MoCo with 23 points & 5 steals, per Mike Fields.

Bryan Wallace 23 pts, 5 steals lead Montgomery County. Cameron Thomas had 16 pts, 7 assists for Madison Central.

Madison Central led most of the way, by as many as nine points in the first half and 11 in the second half. But when Montgomery County turned up the defensive pressure, Madison Central’s inexperience showed with ball-handling mistakes.

Cameron Thomas, a promising 6-1 sophomore point guard, had 16 points and seven assists.

“He’s going to be a special player,” Holland said.

Sam Jones, a husky 6-3 junior, muscled for 13 points and eight rebounds. George, a strong 6-1 inside player, had 11 points and nine rebounds.

Isaiah Johnson, a long-armed 6-2 junior, had six points, seven rebounds and three blocked shots.

Daniel Parke graduated last year and is now playing for Transylvania. He played a few minutes against the Cats back in the exhibition game.
