WHERE it bounces is of no significance. THAT it bounces is what matters. A "shot" ends when the ball touches the floor so it cannot ever be counted as a 3 if it bounces.

Also, if it was released before the buzzer, but bounced after the buzzer would it not count?

Or if it bounced before the buzzer, but went in after, would it not count?
