Eating out 2019

I have only eating out twice this year, so far.

1- Donato's- Buffet 10 bucks with tip.

2-Speedway- 2 Cheese Burgers 3 bucks.

Sooo, how is that Speedway cuisine?

Nasty.

I hate to criticize, but if I'm only eating out twice in 5 months Speedway Cheese Burgers are never going to make the list.

I had not eaten all day and still had a hour or two before I got home. I was getting gas and thought, why not?

Their pizza is actually solid, and you can never go wrong with a fully dressed Speedway-Dog. Both would have been far superior options to their "burger". A fully dressed dog (or two) and a bag of combo's would have been a perfect snack until your home-cooked meal. :bunny:

I ate at Carlo & Johnny the other night, is that better?

Galvin's in Georgetown, KY. My whole family loves that place!

When we were up there a couple of weeks ago, we visited 3 distilleries one day. When we were leaving the last one, the Woodford Distillery, to head back to NKY, we asked a fellow who worked there, "Where's a good place to eat?" He enthusiastically said, "Red State BBQ, near Georgetown."

He wasn't kidding. Great food.

4th time.
