If all schools consolidated into one school per county, whose the best?

If every county had every school in the county consolidate into one school who would be the best teams? Obviously Jefferson County would be incredible. Also Fayette and Warren would be very good. What would be your top 5-10? I’m not real familiar with what county schools out east are so I’m sure I left a couple out.

Kenton and Campbell would have to be up there. Boyle, Pike, Pulaski, Oldham, Johnson, Daviess, and maybe even Franklin would be tough as well.

My top 5 would go like this:

1. Jefferson

2. Fayette

3. Kenton

4. Warren

5. Campbell

Purely a numbers game. More kids, larger talent pool.

I actually did a study on this last year to some extent

For obvious reasons, namely population base:

1. Jefferson (Trinity, X, Male, Central, DeSales, CAL, etc.)

2. Kenton (CovCath, Beechwood, Simon Kenton, etc)

3. Campbell (Highlands, NewCath, etc)

4. Warren (Bowling Green, South Warren, etc)

5. Daviess (Owensboro, OCath, Apollo)

6. Hardin (Etown, Central Hardin, John Hardin, etc)

The Counties That Produce A Ton of Success Despite Population Base:

1. Boyle (Danville and Boyle County)

2. Pike (Belfry, Pikeville)

3. Graves (Mayfield and Graves)

4. Greenup (Russell, Raceland, Greenup)

5. Knox (Corbin, Knox Central, Lynn Camp)

6. Pulaski (Somerset, Pulaski, Southwestern)

Some of the worst performing Counties based off Population Base translating to success:

- Fayette

- Boone

- Bullitt

- Oldham

- Franklin
