TnCatFan
CAL needs to get there offense fixed or they can expect the same result in November.. Wright is a great talent, but, he can't do it all by himself and the Colts basically just keyed on him and said someone else beat us and no one was able to step up for CAL.. SpartansBasketball
CAL is losing these games without their starting QB. If he comes back during the playoffs watch out! They will be a dangerous and a top 3 team with him. The DeSales CAL regional final will be epic and then a great state semi final game awaits at Mayfield. Coltcity
Agree with ya Spartanbasketball...don't count them out. Man they are big, at least a half a head taller than us per man.The exception being our 2 Offensive tackles. A shout out to DeSales defense, did a good job of keeping Wright inside the pocket for the most part. Colts #87 is going to be just fine, came up with some big time tackles. And that One handed grab for TD #2 was pretty sweet.
ColtPride
Defensive battle like i thought it would be. We had to play this a little different. We normally like to rush the pocket, create pressure, however with Wright back there, we stayed in our lanes and didn't over pursue, so he could never get the edge on us. We were going to make someone else beat us. The D played a great game, CAL has a solid defense as well. They are a physical team. Good luck to them the rest of the way, until we see them again in a few weeks. This time they might have Carr back, but we will also be at home. DeSales Dad
Dominant defensive performance. CAL could not get anything going offensively, despite starting in Desales territory at least four times. The 3 points came when they intercepted a pass and returned it to the four yard line, then couldn't punch it in.
BigRedDiesel
There were 10+ NHL hockey teams that scored more points Thurs night than CAL was able to muster Fri night. Is DeSales defense that good, CALs offense that bad without Carr, or was this a combination of both?
