Never count NewCath out of the top five in 2A. They seem to find a way.

With Newcath's 3 transfers they have all the skill players they want to compete for that 2A title. A stud RB to. An there schedule will have them war ready by playoff time!!

Not sure about all classes but 4A

1. Johnson Central

2. Hopkinsville

3. Collins

4. Wayne Co.

5. Franklin Simpson, John Hardin, Shelby Co. and Mercer...I think you can throw these teams in a hat during preseason.

6A

Trinity

Male

Scott Co.

Simon Kenton, Lafayette.

Should be fun reading the BGP rankings for each division. For 5A I am going...

1. Bowling Green (that way until someone knocks them off)

2. Cov Cath

3. Christian County

4. South Oldham

5. Owensboro

The Dragons had a great season last year and I expect this to be another great one for them. But I'm not sure if they're top 5 just yet. How many starters/key players do they return from last years team?

Skill positions are really never an issue. It always comes down to the lines with their depth and size.

With who South returns I would put them ahead of Pulaski and Southwestern as of now. Owensboro I really scratched my head on. Posted again on the South Oldham thread so you can see who they return.

I would put them ahead of Pulaski as well, I expect Pulaski County to be down a bit this year. I think Owensboro will be really solid and would place them ahead of South Oldham and Southwestern. Honestly of those teams mentioned Owensboro is the only one I would have in my top 5. The head scratcher for me is whether South Oldham should be in front of Southwestern or not, I think they will be pretty much equal unless South Oldham doesn't skip a beat with the oline replacement.
