Courier Journal has determined that subscriptions are down significantly throughout the Commonwealth and have taken the following measure to increase revenue in markets where they have poor visability as a publication. OK => Im joking but it all sounds good!!!!! Just some quick comments about the LIT Ratings. They do not hold much value and their is a subjective element that is NOT computer generated that goes into the rankings. Of course this is no big deal but I do laugh about it several times a year. Case and point: the CJ has issued the rankings for at least ~45 years and have always given the disclaimer:"The Litratings do not factor games against out-of-state opponents." Several years ago (maybe 2, 3 or 4) the first LIT Ratings had Trinity at No. 1 and they had not played a KY opponent for the first several weeks of the season!!!! Chew on that for a while!!!!! One scrimmage, or for that fact, one game, DOES NOT make a season!!!! Very nice Win for the Tigers, however, more challenges lie ahead! Questions at this point that need to be answered: 1. Can St. X bring the same intensity at the start of all their games? OK, lets just see if X can start fast at Central??? 2. Can the Defense have another outstanding effort and shut down the Central O?? 3. Obviously, many did not see this BG game turning out as if it did. Does this mean that X is back in the hunt??? Several more key games on the schedule which really need to answer this question: @ Highlands, Trinity, Male and Cincy X!!! Time will only tell!! 4. Can this X team take care of business against: Central, PRP, Manual and Butler??? Still a lot to prove!!!! Way, Way to early to be counting any chickens and making plans of grandure. Go Tigers => Work hard and get ready for Central !!!

Nice win last week to start the season for the Tigers! As I said before, X has a lot to prove this season!!! This is a game in which if X is going to be a contender for the state title, must win!!! If X has rebuilt and retooled, then this is a good opportunity to show what you have learned and your capabilities. To this point, no need to talk about it. Either you got a team or you dont. Looking forward to Friday Night. GO TIGERS !!!

Hope the Tigers win, but at this point, the confidence factor is really low from a fan perspective . . . If X does not come ready to play, I say HC takes the W!!! AND it just might be in convincing fashion!!!!!

Trinity scores early and takes a 14 -0 half time lead. Holds on for a hard earned big W over Ensworth 28 - 13. In so it begins !!!!

Maybe St. X should petition to drop to 5A !!! Not real sure the results would be that much different !!!! Maybe 4A . . . We held our own when we were in 4A previously. Trying to be positive and realistic here. The realistic is winning out. . .

St. X is ranked about where they should be. A lot to prove this season. A lot to accomplish this season. A lot at stake this season!!! This X fan is NOT satisfied with regional runner-ups !!!! Lets hope the TEAM is not satisfied with the same!!!!

Trinity should be ranked ahead of Male because Trinity is the defending champ. If you need any other evidence, look who has won the last 10 state titles!!! Until someone other that Trinity claims the crown in December, its all Rocks! Male may sneek up on um in the regular season, but its a different story in November. Time will tell . . .

#1 only matters the last week of the season. Who ever wins the 6A title will be #1 . All this other speculation is a waste of time and electrons. When the dust settles is the best time to have this discussion.

If Male wants to be considered for the label of #1 , then they have to beat Trinity in the post season AND win the 6A title. Until this is accomplished, Male is just like everyone else, playing for second!!!!!

This response is a joke, so don't go ballistic!!! Trinity could always play a few sophomores, or even juniors at the frosh level to benefit the program!!!

It is a scrimmage!!!! Will SK actually make the trip to Louisville this year? Enjoy the trip to Louisville, the return home will not be as much fun!!! Tigers will take this one by at least 3 TD's.

Return to the solid foundation of what St. X football is all about! 1. Strong Running game that can hang 250 + yards per game on anyone!!! 2. Defense that yields less than 110 YPG total offense. 3. Ability, willingness and effectivness to throw the football 20+ times a game and yield 200 + YPG. 4. Special Teams score each game or set up offense to score !!! 5. Win the first and last play of each quarter!!!

I liked the old logo from a traditionalist view, however, the new logo looks very nice and I agree with many of the positive comments made on here describing it as "clean, polished and representative of what the school stands for" ... I just hope it raises the level of play where the Tigers are knocking on the door again, REAL SOON ....

I think I would rather be lucky than sitting at home collecting uniforms!!! However, underachieving and not respecting your opponent is no way to get to the state tournament... Go Tigers
