Congrats to the Rocks on the W. St. X defense did their job tonight and most of the season. Offense was beat up and defeated last night. I think it had more to do with the Trinity defense then anything. I did not really see vast, consistent improvements in the overall team down the stretch. Let's see if the X program can rebound next year and get over the hump!!!!! Time will tell!!!!

St. Xavier (8 - 4) vs. Trinity (7 - 5) => Nothing else needs to be said.... Central Hardin (12 - 0) vs. Meade Co. (11 - 1) => This is a rematch of regular season game as well, Meade Co. only loss. I would love to see this game..... I imagine it goes to the last 3 minutes.... Winner of this game hosts semi-finals vs. winner of St. X vs. Trinity. Butler (9 - 2) vs. Ballard (9 - 3) => Battle for JCPC supremacy. Should also be a very good game!!!! Dixie Heights (11 - 1) vs. Simon Kenton (11 - 1) => Dixie handed SK their only loss convincingly earler in the season. Dixie has not lost since first game of the season.... Another great game this Friday. Winner host semi-final vs. winner of Butler vs. Ballard. They way I see it, of the remaining 8 teams, there are 5 maybe 6 that are capable of winning it all. Congrats to all teams in the final 8. Good Luck and enjoy the experience!!!!

Sure is a lot of "cockyness" coming from these Trinity BGP posters. Maybe St. X should just conceed defeat now and save the money on half of PJCS rental fee.....! Tigers will show up and will play football. Looking forward to the rematch. Beating Trinity twice in one season is special. Tigers come prepared, focused and ready to take advanatage of opportunities, much like the first game. We all know how that turned out..... Go Tigers !!!!!

Two points I would like to make: 1) It sure seems the Trinity faithful are giving Coach B the benefit of the doubt, especially when the Trinity faithful jumped all over Mike Glaser for tiping his hat...... 2) No Trinity players will be suspended.... players have been in way more trouble than a shoving match and still suited up and played in the post season....

Many threads are on this board for football which I'm paraphrashing have the title " who is best QB in NKY? " Now substitute RB, DB, Lineman, Defense, Offense etc.... While I know it is important and good to give these young men recognition, I just think it paints a picture that being the best in NKY is the ultimate objective.... why not best in state????

Average is a very relative term!!! Average can mean the "average". . . as in 5-5 W-L record. I think alot of people in the Louisville area consider their teams "average" if they get to the second round of playoffs... Above average if they go further. For X and T, I suspect average is defined as losing in regional final or state semi-final..... I think it all relates to what your perspective is and your expectations!!!!

Games are starting to be good this week..... best chance for an upset is Trinity over Male.... Best game of the week for Rd. 2....
