Has the QB controversy been settled going into game two?

If you are refering to the 1999 4A Championship game, the back breaker (as I remember): St. X down 7 with less than 4 minutes in regulation, 4th and goal from the 12.... Pass interference on Bryan Station gave St. X 1st and goal and the rest was history. If Bryan Station could have stopped X on that play they have an excellent chance of winning the game ..... By the way, it was a good call. DB reached over the top and through the recevier to bat the ball away....

Of all the preseason scrimmage scores I have heard, this is the most impressive. Yes, I realize it means nothing and the season starts Friday. Good Luck to all teams!!!!!

Hopefully steady progress from week to week. A very stout defense and a 5 game post season. Expectations are always big. Execuition has been an issue. Ready for a new season!!!!! Go Tigers!!!

One cant really expect X to use the tight end for a major threat. Some things stay the same for a long time. One might want to cover that guy just in case. I would not anticipate that the speed is as good this year as it was last.

One has to take these comments with a lot of salt. But I must say that they are funny and really show peoples true motive ie) When one poster says they are "really interested" in the score of the X/FC scrimmage due in part to the highly touted FC team... After the score is posted... Same poster says that FC is basically weak and they have no talent... Come on folks, lets keep it on the postive side. :lol::lol::lol:

Tigers can only validate the ranking by winning on December 13.... All else is just a plain bunch of hot air.... GO TIGERS.

In a preseason scrimmage, I would be very surprised if there were any Juniors in the Frosh vs. VJ scrimmage for the St. X program. I would not expect to see any Sophs. playing on the Frosh team as well. Why play Frosh against Jr.'s? No real gain other than to learn that your are weak and that you could suffer an injury...! I don't think St. X runs a program like that. Good lessons can be learned from the Frosh vs. Sophs. competition. No need to prove anything else.

^ That sounds like a much more realistic number. Sometimes the numbers you hear on here are a little "tainted". Now when one says "loaded" that can be an opinion, however, 110+ can not be construed as down or around 60 - 70. Ox - do you have any other reports on the Baby Bengals, PM me. Thanks.

:lol: Im with you Ox. I would think that the difference between 3 and 4 might be as much as 28 points in head to head competition. I dont see the difference between 1 and 2 being more that 10 points either way (depending on who you support). I would anticipate that there will be some teams that will step up and have excellent regular seasons only to fall to one of the big guys in the playoffs. Its going to be a tough nut to crack, getting past No 1 or 2 come playoffs...
