Any comments on the Saint X/Fern Creek Scrimmage?

Where is everybody ??????????// FC had been somewhat highly touted.....really interested to hear about this one.

It was all St.X, up 30-0 at the half and the final 50-6.

Yes, they scrimmaged Fern Creek's Freshmen on an ajoining field-turf field while the varsity teams were scrimmaging in the main stadium. It was neat having two games going on at the same time. We had an excellent crowd at Tigertown for both of these games. The Tigers rotated an unbelievable amount of players and they all performed well.

This was also without Deuce playing. Looks like the depth at the RB position is outstanding.

Sounds like the St. X defense is pretty decent. Wasn't Fern Creek supposed to have an explosive offense? I also understand that besides Deuce Finch not playing, two defensive starters sat out this scrimmage also.

How long will Rolandan Finch, Jr. be rehabilitating his knee? I understand he was in street clothes on the sideline Friday night.

With all due respect -do not think FC will live up to its billing. Saw them in some 7 on 7. Impressive - with no line play. Think that will be their undoing. Understand the QB had no time to throw. That makes it a bit tricky. Of course credit them for taking on X. No easy task and preseason #1. Perhaps they will fare better against lesser opponents.

After seeing the score, their comments have been limited to this point...!!!!

We are trying to stay on task - and participate properly in the thread. Also trying to be complimentary as well.

How did the X's QB's perform? Heard Buehner may be alittle quicker and accurate with the pass than Brucster. Is this true? Would love to watch X vs Ballard again, like last year. If Ballard ran their QB last year, X would have started with an 0-1 record. Sounds like Curtis needs to go back to the drawing board.
