Just like last year, X did not miss a beat with Brutscher in the game. Also, Brutscher was 3 for 4 on passing, for over 100 yards and two long touchdowns and lead his team to 3 scores in drives over 70 yards.

Denny graduated in 86. He was a two year starter. Junior year he led the Tigers to a 20-0 playoff victory over an undefeated Trinity team that featured Carwell Gardner, Donnie Gardner, Andy Murray and Mike Pfeiffer.
