If Bowling Green breaks the streak, then they will will be the record holder and all others will be subnotes. A Streak is a Streak regardless of what your schedule looks like. Some schedules are tougher than others however, if the Streak is your ultimate goal, then schedule soft teams.... I do not think Bowling Green has scheduled "soft" teams to enable the streak!!!! Good Luck to the Purples, I hope they set a new record!!!

^ I did not say they are under achieving! If they continue to make the same misstakes that cost them the W vs. Bowling Green, then we will have to reevaluate the situation come November.... WRT personnel, if X has the ability to drive inside the 20 multiple times vs. Bowling Green, then they have the ability to finish the drive!!!! Lack of personnel is not an acceptable answer!!!!

If X can not fix the problems of poor execuition in the green zone, then this season will be an addition to the growing list of under achieving teams. You can't beat anybody but yourself when you get nothing on repeated trips inside the 20 and accompany this with very poor clock management. OK, I stated the obvious. Lets see if its corrected!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the biggest challenge St. X will face in this game is their mental approach. Will they be able to withstand some adversity? Will they be able to embrace early success? In the past few years, I would say no, only because the track record has proven so.... This being a new season, new staff etc., it will be interesting to see if these types of lessons are addressed and corrected. If so, no reason why X can't come away with a W. No disrespect to Bowling Green, but not many teams beat the Tigers 4 years in a row... Should be a great one! Good Luck to both teams!!!

My hats off to DeSales !!! They have made great progress in academics and athletics in recent years !!!

Folks you need to go back and understand why the post was made in the first place!!!! Someone commented that if the Christian Academy's, DeSales and Holy Cross' start winning state championships on a regular basis, then St. X would lose enrolement and athletes to these schools. I don't see it that way. 95% of the parents that send their kids to St X is for the education, not to play "sports"..... IMHO! If all your interested in is your child playing football on a championship team, attend a football school.

Some folks actually send their kids to high school to get an education and play sports, as opposed to going to high school to play football or basketball and get an education.

You can not receive a St. X education and diploma at Trinity, DeSales, Holy Cross, Christian Academy etc. . . . There IS a difference!!!!!!

The demise of the Shamrock program is greatly stretched. OK, so they don't have a boat load of D1 players, now have to compete on a level playing field...... Rocks will rebound no doubt!!!!

Im not upset about any team or ranking. Just wondering how BGP's views losses to out of state teams? The CJ for years said that "all games against out of state competition were not counted or considered in the LIT ratings". Same disclaimer used for 40+ years. . . Fast forward to the 2K era, and some teams dont play KY competition until the seventh game of the season. Seems to me, that these teams should be void of any ranking until some valid data supports their results vs. KY competition. The CJ has ignored their own disclaimer and I find that funny as can be. . . What criteria does BGP's use to make their ranking? Is it basically a personal observation and "feeling" that team C is better than team A?

Just wondering how many games does a team half to lose in order for them to "lose" status in the BGB's ranking? Obviously, BGP's thinks KY does not play very good football or question #1 would not even have to be asked? I realize this is just a Poll, so I viewed and commented, it all doesn't mean anything till the post season. Glad to see the season off and running. Shaping up as a real good season for many and basically wide open . . .

This week Trinity avoids the O'fer and gets a big and much needed W . . . Better get it this week because next week is another real toughie!!!! Don't want to be 0 - 4 going to fifth game of season.....
