Even come close to slowing down the Tigers? After reading this I think I doubt it:

Males defense is better than T's. No I don't believe anyone in our district had a better offense than Male, just like I believe the two best defenses belong to manual and X. Also, not about our offense being better than males, I think there is more opportunity to put up points vs you all because of the porous defense.

I really think T's best chance to score would be the strategic use of flashbangs to slow down the X players and daze them. Although in thinking about it, even that may not help. The St. X defense is known to posess extra sensory powers that defy explanation. So really even that may not help.

I guess we should just be happy to be on the field as X sets all sorts of state records next week.

This thread is real? You've got to be kidding me...

Porous defense, stifled unimaginative offense. Special teams that can't make a PAT to save their lives. This could be the worst beatdown in T history. I may end up inebriated the entire next week just to forget the horror I witness next Friday night.

St. Xavier is allowing 13 points per game.

Trinity is scoring 27 points per game.

St. Xavier's biggest defensive performances were:

2. Holding a 6A team still alive to scoreless - Ballard.

3. Holding an explosive Manual to 13 points.

4. Holding Manual to 7 points in the playoffs.

Trinity's biggest offensive performances were:

1. Scoring 36 on Colerain.

2. Scoring 31 on Cathedral.

3. Scoring 21 on St. Xavier who is allowing 13 points per game.

No doubt T can score with the best of them, but can you post their defensive performances? X can play defense with the best of them, but you should also post their offensive performances.

Trinity fans: do you guys really need to find exterior motivation from one St. X fans opinion? I mean come on. This thread is ridiculous. I have no dog in this fight buy you act like it's the end of the world that a X fan thinks they can score on you. Last time I checked, T is doing just fine. Give it a rest. Just because someone doesn't say how high and mighty your team is you get all butt hurt!

The opening post was asking about Trinity scoring versus St. Xavier's defense, that is why I posted Trinity's offensive production and St. Xavier's defensive performances. But..............

Trinity is allowing 20 points per game

Trinity's best defensive performances:

1. Holding Inhoptep to 6 points.

2. Holding Manual to 3 points.

St. Xavier is scoring 22 points per game

St. Xavier's best offensive performances:

1. Scoring 35 points against Trinity that is only allowing 20 points per game.

2. Scoring 28 points against Manual who is allowing 11 points per game.
