Voice of Reason
Certainly not your typical 4 seed. Certainly not typical, but not unique either. We have a number of competitive 4 seeds every year.
UK fball fan
All McCracken in 1st half, all Manual in the 2nd.. The Mustangs played the 2nd half like they they were trying to just kill the clock and protect the lead, but, as the game wore on, Manuals depth was too much.. I believe McCracken should have stayed with the wide open offense and kept the pressure on, but, obviously the coaches felt otherwise.. Manuals D stuffed the run all game long, but, Jones was able to hit receivers for big plays in the 1st half. Confusing play calling to say the least. I could see it if your up 20 going into the 4th, but, McCracken did it on both 3rd qtr possessions while Manual got its running game going and while McCracken made some stops, they were constantly deep in there own territory in the 2nd half, giving Manual a lot of 4 down opportunities that they cashed in more times than not.. Dr.Feelgood
I thought Manual defensive line dominated the whole game. Looked like Manual made some great adjustments at half with their secondary.

Toothpick
Depth & Big boy football, something McCracken will adapt to but is still learning to crawl right in year 2 Good season for the Stangs
truebluefan89
The pointless penalties were another major factor in McCrackens demise in the 2nd half-
UK fball fan
Honestly, McCracken gets more disciplinary penalties than about anyone. They can be great at times and when things are going well, but, when they face adversity they don't respond like a championship team. I blame that on coaching. Just seems they get undisciplined at times and easily lose there composure. I can only imagine how good this team could be under Allen Cox's leadership. Still too many favorites played and outside influence imo. They need a staff with some cahonies that'll do what's best for the team and not for popularity sake.. Once that happens, this team will take off.
