They had some good W's and obviously played Meade County pretty tight, hoping for a very competitive scrimmage, can't wait!

Henry Clay should be in the thick of it in Lexington 6A.

 

They have one of the state's top RB's returning in Buford and Davonte Robinson is a freak.

 

Athletes wise they should be step for step with Trinity.

 

With that said, Trinity should be a couple notches better than Henry Clay on the whole.

Reminds me of last season scrimmage vs Highlands. Great team with good athletes but overall no match for Trinity's talent and depth. The Rocks have very few if any holes in the defense and it takes another exceptional team to stay with them. While Henry Clay may have some very good athletes I think it will be a tough night for them.

Only a few more days until we kick things off. Should be a good one. Really looking forward to seeing Robinson up close and watching the T QB battle. It sounds like both QB's in the middle of the competition are doing plenty of good things in practice.

 

Also looking forward to watching some of the Trinity guys competing for the final few D-Line spots and the final LB spot. Really only need to fill about 3 spots...and I can't wait to see the guys in the middle of position battles. Hope to see solid depth on both sides of the ball as well. Really fun watching the 2nd and 3rd string guys get in the mix. Many of them usually find a way to contribute somewhere

How about a QB battle with 2 guys and going up against an athlete like Robinson in the secondary???? That should be fun...no pressure!!

 

I remember Ensworth last year with Harper and Ryan Young...going into battle the first game of the year against Rico McGraw. He was fun to watch in that game and now playing for Georgia. So many great athletes and top notch talent to watch last year and this year.

You are correct, 3 Quarters just like a game, 4th Q will be for the backups/young guys, probably have multiple strings going on both sides of the 50 towards the endzone to maximize the time out there and give guys reps
