1. Strong Running game that can hang 250 + yards per game on anyone!!!

 

2. Defense that yields less than 110 YPG total offense.

 

3. Ability, willingness and effectivness to throw the football 20+ times a game and yield 200 + YPG.

 

4. Special Teams score each game or set up offense to score !!!

 

5. Win the first and last play of each quarter!!!

Oh, nice. I didn't know any of the Louisville teams were playing Highlands. I'll have to cross the river and watch that game. Got to admit I am a little surprised they would schedule Central. No disrespect, but I would think St. X is a bit outside their league.

X has a long history with Central.

Coach Bruner will be in his 2nd year of coordinating the Tiger defense and I would expect this unit to continue their progress from last year.

 

Another, another offensive coordinator. I don't know much about their new offense, but I would suggest a running game that is more north and south. Work towards your teams traditional strength. From a passing game stand point, be efficient. It's great throwing the ball 20+times, but becomes irrelevant if you complete less than 50%.

 

The Wolford Era has been confusing and head scratching, but take some of the St. X foundational pedigree, sprinkle in some new ideas and a few more wins could be in the near future!

Not 100 percent sure, but think they will be predominately spread/gun.

450+ yards on offense and 110- yards on defense would be a winning formula for anybody.:thumb:

This will be the ninth straight year that they have played. X has won the previous eight, the closest being a 31-30 win in OT in 2011.
