  1. I'll be at this one. Look for the guy in the blue/white 'Bluegrasspreps' hat if anyone wants to meet up.
  2. Fair enough, but you've got to expect to catch some flak when your opinion isn't supported by anything objective.
  3. No insult to CCH's schedule, but if they were still playing GCL teams and having this much success then people would probably agree that CCH is #1 in the state.

  10. Both went to Dunbar, so it could've been a single school problem rather than county-wide. Actually, I don't know if Fayette county schools are open enrollment. If not, then they should be.
  11. I think Scott and X are a couple places too low and Ryle and Butler are a couple places too high, but otherwise, not bad.
  12. If my cousins (who recently graduated from Fayette county high schools) are to be believed then it is a culture problem. According to them, sports were not looked upon favorably by most students and if you were to play a sport, soccer was the one of choice. Lafayette and Henry Clay (among others) have had very talented teams, ones with multiple D1 players sometimes, but they could never channel that talent properly. Frederick Douglas appears to have a good coach, good culture, and good facilities. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they became the destination school for football in Lexington.

  19. I'm leaning towards the latter and expect Anderson Co to win this game. If Meade County wins, the former is much more likely.
  20. So were Cooper and McCracken in the top 15 preseason or currently? Because I'd argue that PRP, Henry Clay, or Campbell County would beat either of them.
  21. Boyle County Central Central Hardin Logan County Madison Central Western Hills
  22. Trinity is no longer a top ten 6A team because they lost by 3 points to the #2 team in Indiana? You honestly think Campbell County could beat Trinity and thus deserves to be in the top ten over them? I can make the same point with St. X and Campbell County. The Camels are shaping up to be a nice team, but do you honestly believe they would beat St. X right now?
  23. I feel like Trinity should remain #1 given the strength of the team they lost to and the weakness of the team Male beat, but I feel confident that they will soon regain the top rank regardless. If Male struggles to beat Ballard, but wins I think that would still be enough to move Ballard up into the top ten. It should be a very interesting game, especially if Ballard cleans up those turnovers. DeSales vs Butler should also be a excellent game, and I'm not surprised there's disagreement on which one should be 'game of the week'. It's really difficult to decide between the two.
