Hicks can play at Pikeville. He might have to make a few adjustments to his game, learn to get his shot off a little quicker because of his size but from everything I have heard, he is a hard enough worker to do that.

They are in the process of building a new club house. They have already put the money in the budget. Another Rocky Adkins Purchase. But as for Eagle Trace, the course in time has been very nice. They last couple of years the up keep hasnt been very well but I look for MSU to do some work and get it back on track. It has a very nice layout and with a little work and money, can be a very nice course once again.

Who has offered that is consider major D-1?

Elliott County may also be attending the City of the Palms this coming year. They are for sure attending in the 2008-2009 season and are debating on attending the coming year.

Timmy Knipp recently went to the doctor about his ankle and the doctor predicted him to be at least 6'10 before he graduated. Elliott County would be hard to handle with a post presence like that. Also want to mention that Knipp's ankle is progressing, he still isnt playing on it but isnt having any trouble walking on it. He should be playing again in the next week or two.

Everyone keeps talking about what happened this year in the tourney, but the 4 teams that were playing on Saturday morning lose quite a bit with the expection of Scott Co. I look forward to seeing how Scott Co. responds without their glue guy, Matt Walls. Elliott Co. gained valuable experience this year, return their top 8 players, and have put together a very tough schdule next year to prepare these boys for another run. So with that said, I think Elliott could definatily be a contender next year.

Here is something to think about. Possibly the coaches who did the voting put a little thought behind this. The winner of this award, who is obviously Matthew Daniels recieves an automatic tryout to the Ky All-Star team. Vanhoose couldnt try out because of his knee, so maybe the coaches felt that Daniels was the next best player that would have a chance to make the all-star team and represent the 16th region in the various all star games this team plays in. Not because he is more talented that Mcdavid, but because Mcdavid's lack of size at his position would hurt him at making a team like this. I personally thought it was a deserving award for Mr. Daniels and Coach Mays. I just thought I would throw that in there.

Is this the same Georgetown team that Elliott County beat in the preseason panaroma at West Carter?

We will get to see how good Elliott Co is early, playing in the Kentucky Bank Shoutout and 5/3 tourney.

I seen Tubby walk in for about 10 minutes of the Adair game and then got up and left and I didnt see him at anymore of the games.

Well I predict this game to have the largest crowd. Elliott Co itself has sold over 1100 tickets just inside the school system.

As Nets stated, Elliott County is known for thier offense but very, very underrated defensively.

Acutally, South Charleston played them tough earlier in the season. The final score ended up being about 19pts but I do believe is was a good game until late.
