I know this is kind of early but I was just wondering what u boys and girls thought!

Who wins the state next year?

Im going with Mason Co. Or Scott Co. those two teams dont loose very much. But Elliott comes back next year with a 6''5 sophmore and bunch of juniors.

Mason and Scott Co will be contenders. Don't count out Bryan Station. If Henry Clay develops a point guard they could contend. Elliott Co will be world beaters in the 15th and 15th regions but I don't see them sweeping the state.

I'm biased and although I know the Louisville teams will be there, Scott Co will be there. Warren Central always seems to be strong. I say barring an injury, it's Mason County's to lose. Course they were a favorite this year and we saw what happened.

Is it November yet?

The 11th will be tougher next year. All these teams return at least three good starters. Station, Central, Tates Creek. These teams Scott Co. Lex Cath, Henry Clay, Lafayette and Dunbar will return about everyone. It was a very young bunch of good kids. When you went to a game in the region it was allways a good one tp see.

I think they have some big shoes to fill with the seniors that graduate this year from Mason Co.

Not ready to go to next year yet... still basking in this one.

Not next year, at least not on a statewide scale.

We will get to see how good Elliott Co is early, playing in the Kentucky Bank Shoutout and 5/3 tourney.

I agree. Elliott will be a favorite next year, all that young talent coming back. I like June Buchanan as well, nice young team who will make some noise.

What team will they play in the KY Bank Classic ???

Yes. Scott Co will be preseason #1. I think has just as much to do with respect for the SC basketball program as the players they have coming back.

I know there were several years that Shelby Co and/or Oldham Co had much more talent coming back but Scott Co would be choosen as the #1 team in the 8th region in preseason. It was hard to believe that Oldham Co had Donta Smith and was never voted preseason #1 and Shelby Co had Silverhorn and Daniels and were never voted #1. Scott Co had noone close to those three during those years.

everybody is saying Station but dont they lose Jaron Jones and Stephon Lewis . I think tose are 2 big shoes to fill. I think they will be good but not as good as this year.

Bryan Station must have really felt cheated this year. I felt sorry for them. They may have had the third best team in the whole state but were thrown into a district with Scott Co. I hope the people at BSHS appreciate what they have in Champ.
