Well whoever said Scott County didnt coast last year is 100% wrong. The only game last year that was a struggle was the state championship game. Personally I think Lex Cath should be number 1. Mason County might as well change their name to the Darius Miller all-stars. I still dont think Mason County has a good TEAM which is why they got beat by a mediocore at best GRC team. And the team that is getting no respect that i might even say is my favorite to win it is UHA. UHA has the tools if hopson and his coach can suck it up and get on the same page the state better watch out.

I think i heard that same tune during basketball season....hahahaha.... sorry about that one guys I went to the game with a friend that graduated from GRC and it was a contest to see who could talk more smack. But it was in no way a dominating win.

i think Scott County has a shot to go far but not beat T or X

maybe because it is where I grew up but it is hard to say Scott county isnt top 3 i mean it was built for the Bengals. But I also like Lex Caths stadium a lot except they need more bleechers on the guests side

I really dont see Bud in an SC jersey I think he will end up at Hargrave Academy and comparison between 99 and 07 is a tough one because if u think about it yes the 99 team had those dI players but had no player with Bud's skill. The 07 team will prove to have atleast 4 DI players. and IMO Matt Walls got an absolute screw job by not winning Mr Basketball. Scott county played more top 10 teams in a week than Pettigrew faced all year. And i mean come on got beat in the first game of district are you serious. And then you have Bud this year who if he got to play and there obviously wasnt a lean towards miller because he signed with Kentucky would most likely win Mr. Basketball so to be honest I take the Walls leadership and Bud Mackey talent over the 99 team.

Scott County is still loaded... Richie Phares,Jordan Adams,Markus Burchfield,Gelawn(the transfer from Henry Clay), Camron Hundley, Tyler Portwood, Jordan Lee, and there are a couple of Kids that were underclassman last year that are very good ball players and will be able to hold their own on the court. Trust me on this one If Bud can't play all that means is that they might actually get beat a couple of times this year. Im sorry i know i sound like what to you guys is a typical Scott County fan but there is no way around it this team is stil Very Very Very good.

a movie of hicks from beginning of career to now. It would have it all. the small town guy in to the powerhouse and then winning state titles. losing and winning on buzzer beaters. Finally winning a state title and going undefeated

I know someone that has worked in the fayette county school system a long time and they told me a while ago that Ligon and the principal didn't get a long at all and that there was someone already lined up for the job. I don't mean to be starting anything but i am just trying to maybe give a reason for why he was fired.

Are you serious with this post. How can you honestly say that this Arlington team SHOULD have been beaten? They were ranked 15th in the nation and they SHOULD have been beaten? That is a joke. And to say that Luke Babbit's team is better than Kentucky talent is also another bad comment.

he's playing basketball

That's funny because I know Matt Walls pretty well and as I understand it the choices are down to 2 schools.

Hopson is the most overrated player in the COUNTRY. He is purely an athlete and thats it. As far as Miller and Mackey go it will be a toss up and that is IF Bud stays at Scott County.

I also heard from a little birdie that a certain number 14 at Scott County is very interested to see what Billy G brings to the table and would consider UK if he came after him pretty hard.

Matt Walls wants to go to UK but if they don't offer him then he is going to Marshall.

Mr. Wall's birthday is on April 10th wouldn't that be a nice present.

It's sarcasm buddy. We don't recruit and no one has any proof and the toyota thing and all this other crap people are saying is getting really old.

Sportsdfan I agree his is a good coach but sometimes a timeout would be nice or to lay off the refs a little bit to get in a timeout and draw something up. Don't get me wrong you can't argue numbers and numbers he has. I just think that is why he hasn't gone to the next level(which I could very easily be wrong about).

I think Scott County is getting Greg Monroe and tyreke Evans next year too.

ya those are some ugly socks but he has worn them all season. Here's a little tid bit for ya apparently Mackey has played this whole tournament with a fractured right pointer fingure.

Walls had a target on his back every night as well. BTW Bud is a great player but if you watched the whole tournament then you would know that Walls carried that and Bud only had one good quarter the whole tournament. It just so happens that the quarter happened to be the last of the state championship.

It helps when u have a superintendent that loves the sports programs so much.

Right now I think Matt is good enough to play for UK.

Rojas always has to make things difficult making me look like an idiot right now LOL. Your right those were my exact words and even though i felt that way or feel that way the buckets of crow are sitting in front of me right now.

Walls also can't help it that he has faced the best talent in the state every time he steps on the court and is arguably the Most valuable player on the team that won the state championship

My hearts with Scott County But im saying Station or Scott Co
