How is Maynard doing??? I haven't seen him play since he was at Scott County

One of my family members called the ticket office to get seats for the Scott COunty games the other day. He told them he wanted to sit by his team and they asked which team it was. When he told them Scott County they said o well you wont have to worry about not sitting with their fans because they are everywhere. So I don't think the crowd cheering against the cards will be a problem.

Im not meaning to disrespect the players but I'm just speaking the truth. I don't think this game will be under 20 and I dont think the 8th has anything without Scott County bottom line.

Well let me put it this way. Simon Kenton was favored to win this region and was barely beat by Oldham and Simon Kenton finished LAST in the Toyota classic. The talent level in the 8th region isn't good and they aren't going to be able to play with Scott County.

Im not saying Scott County will beat them by 30 again. Im just saying Scott COunty is a better team and would win again. I just think Scott County is going to win state point blank.

If you don't think there was a group effort in getting Scott County out of the 8th region then you are 100% wrong. Without Scott County, the 8th region is nothing. Oldham County has a 0% chance of beating Scott County on Wednesday. Trust me Matt Walls and Billy Hicks know who got them out of that region and they won't forget.

Jordan Adams is another kid from Scott County who is now getting more playing time. He can shoot the lights out.

I will definatly be there in full Scott County garb

YEA I would love to see a Scott COunty vs. Clark County final to seeing that we beat them by 30+ last time.

caught all the breaks tonight??? not quite it was a battle back and forth with neither team catching a break. Tates Creek played exactly like they wanted to,SLOW. But the Cards just had too much talent and were able to run a little in the 4th. GO CARDS!!!!!

I just think when you are talking about a top 5 team in the state returning all there starters(I believe) that they will take over. I think Scott County is going to miss Matt Walls more than people realize.

One of the worst ways for a senior to go out was Jesse Thompson at Scott COunty last year. Scott County was favored to win and had the game put away in the regional finals. Then Duane Fields of Central hit a last second 3 to win the game.

I don't think there is any team that can take Walls AND Mackey out of the game. I think this will be a very good game adn hopefully Creek isn't this years Central. BTW on an earlier post it talked about SC next year and I hate to tell eveyone but Bryan Station is going to take over the 11th next year.

mhighfield you are probably the most classy person on bluegrass preps. I am a Scott County fan(a fan of a good team just like you) and I hear the same generalizations you do everyday. You have talked straight forward and had as little bias as possible. I just wanted to say thank you for making some of us "complainers or "bull headed" fans look good.

I will start off by saying congrats to GRC great win and I'm sorry to see Mason get beat I really wanted to see a rematch between them and Scott County. BUT it seems like that the Fact that Miller is really the only big threat for Mason finally caught up with them. Knowles equaled Miller and then the better TEAM won the game. But congratulations to both teams on an excellent season.

well if you are willing to pay $12 the best place to park is at Central bank because you are right at the light and you get out quickly.

Rojas I couldn't agree more very well stated. I like the sweet sixteen system but its a shame that all those teams will not be playing in Rupp.

Scott County has beat 3 out of those 5 teams.

Creek is impressive. I didnt realize they were that athletic and they could be this years Central.I also agree that Scott County is on a mission. Even though they are number one, after last year they think they have something to prove.

WOW after a win like that and Scott County isn't impressive. Maybe compared to college teams but as far as high school goes they looked pretty impressive to me. Maybe I just dont know what the standard of impressive is.

Holly Milburn at Scott County plays basketball,runs track, and plays soccer. She starts in soccer and basketball and I believe she went to state in track

Scott County lost the second they stepped out on the floor in the second half. They ran on adrenaline in the first and then all they could think about was how to not let there be a repeat of last year. An absolute terrible foul called on Holly Milburn midway through the 4th really hurt them
