Scott County 07-08 Schedule

If you don't think it is possible for Scott County's schedule to get stronger than it was this year, take a look at some of their out of state games for next year.

 

Simeon (Chicago Ill). For those of you that don't keep up with the top teams in the country, Simeon was the only team to beat Oak Hill this year.

 

St Anthony New Jersey. St Anthony is one of the nation's best each year. They are coached by Bob Hurley and had a record of 28-1 this year. Scott Co will play this game at Springfield Mass at the basketball Hall of Fame.

 

City of Palms Tournament and Beach Ball Classic. Most years these are the top two tournaments in the country.

They are also schedule to return to play in that Beach Ball Classic they played in this year as well. That will have some of the best teams in the country, that City of Palms tournament is one of the biggest ones in the country as well.

 

Not to mention their regional games AND their visit to the Fieldhouse as well.

 

They have the talent to play that schedule though and it makes the team even better, so why not.

Scott County is also playing at the Marshall County Hoopfest, opponent still to be announced. Where are the Cardinals meeting Simeon?

St. Anthony's returns the majority of their team, and these particular players are the main reason Bob Hurley put off his retirement for a few more years. A few top teams already confirmed for the City of Palms besides Scott County are, Kinston, NC, John Carroll out of Md, Chester Pa, Miami Pace, Helen Cox from New Orleans, and Gainesville High from Florida coached by former Scott County player Tony Wise. All this does is get Scott County even more ready to defend their very tough region and state title.

Elliott County may also be attending the City of the Palms this coming year. They are for sure attending in the 2008-2009 season and are debating on attending the coming year.

Details are being worked out now for Simeon to be Scott County's opponent at Marshall Co.
