Why wouldn't Selby play?

That is one of the more knowledgeable post I have ever read on this site. No matter how good a coach is, he can't win without players. Mays is a perfect example of that. He has always been a good coach, but never has had enough talent to showcase his abilities.

I could care a less if East Carter wins a game this year, but they will be no worse than 3rd in the region.

If I recall correctly, one of those "tremendous athletes" averaged 14 points per game last year and was an all district, all region, and all area performer.(Drew Johnson) BTW, I am not an East Carter fan but they are going be a great team.

The point I was trying to make was that East Carter is a very athletic team, so I used 4 players in thier starting line-up dunking as an example to back my statements. Being able to dunk a basketball would be one element that represents athleticism.

Your right, Jackson is the fourth. He dunks quite easily.

Across the board, East is the most athletic team in the region. When I say athletic, I'm speaking on speed, quickness, jumping ability, etc. East Carter will have four players in thier starting line-up this year that will dunk in a game. They all are very athletic.

You have watched several Lexington and Louisville schools play this summer then. East Carter has a team full of athletes.

I agree about East Carter. They have 5 very solid basketball players, and are by far the most athletic team the 16th has to offer.

They can play Louisville a pretty good game IMO.

Georgetown could play with any of the D-1 schools in KY besides UK. Russ will have the opportunity to play for a national championship, something he probably wouldnt be able to do if he decided to play D-1. Congrats Russ.

I would be willing to be that Clark will be the primary ball handler next year. Why would they switch what has worked the last couple years? They won the 14th last year with Clark running the point, why would the coach or any of the players want to stray away from that?

3 EC players are not enough if they deserve 4, or 5 for that matter based on some of the players I see on there.

This is second hand information but I am pretty sure that Taylor Stewart is looking at Air Force and Arkansas State. I know that Vandy was watching Jordan Smart some over the summer and really liked him.

Acutally, KY, they will have some size this year. They will have 6'7 freshman Timmy Knipp. He has really came along this summer despite a few injuries. They also have returning stater Jonathon Morgan, who is a 6'3 junior. They will have a big body in Dustin Gilliam, a 6'3 275lbs. junior who also has some varsity expierence. Gilliam is very athletic for his size.

They are in the 5/3rd this year and will be play Mason Co. at Mason. They are playing Hunington High next year in the Ky/Wv Shootout and will be playing in the Kentucky Bank Shoutout along with a possible matchup with Rose Hill in the Class "A" 16th region tounrey makes up for a pretty challenging schedule.
