All Sweet 16 team...

Featured Replies

If you could choose one player from each team participating in the Sweet 16 to travel around the country and play the top players from each state tournament, which player would you choose from each team to represent your team?

(Only one player from each team, every team must have a representative)

Let's have a little fun with this.

I don't know all the team's players, but here are a few:

June Buchanan: Collins. He's 6'8 and size would be important on an all star team.

Shelby Valley: Justice.

South Laurel: Proffit.

Scott County: 6'6 Mackey. Walls is good, but I'll go with the size because the guard spot can be handled by......

....Clark County's Knowles.

Elliott County: Ferguson.

Holmes: the kid that sat out half the year with an injury, can't think of his name.

Mackey is no where near 6'6, more like 6'3.

And Walls is about the same height at Mackey.

Just from hearing about other teams players, this would be my team:

Paducah Tighlman: Stephon Perry

Covington Holmes: Arrez Henderson

South Laurel: Ty Profitt

GRC: Preston Knowles

Scott County: Bud Mackey

Elliot Co: Ethan Faulkner

Ballard: Twanny Beckham

JBS- Tate Cox

Warren Central- Jeremy Anderson

Lincoln Co- Ryan Young

Christian Co- Cj Trotter

Fairdale- Reggie Smith

Adair Co- ???

Oldham Co- ???

Owensboro- ???

Shelby Valley- ???

And Walls is about the same height at Mackey.

Then I would take Walls. I thought Mackey was bigger than 6'3.

Jones-Tilghman

Trotter-Christian Co

Johnson-Owensboro

Anderson-Warren Central

Ballou-Adair Co.

Smith-Fairdale

Beckman-Ballard

Dunlap-Oldman

Hill-Holmes

Knowles-GRC

Mackey-Scott Co.

Miller-Lincoln Co.

Profitt-SL

Cox-JBS

Justice-Shelby Valley

Ferguson-Elliott

I haven't seen some of these guys play though, just going by what I've read or heard.

HM List.

Lee & Walls-Scott Co.

Britt-Warren Central

Falkner(s)-Elliott Co.

Henderson & Jefferson-Holmes

Hammonds-SL

Perry-Tilgman

Gholson-Ballard

Hatifield-Shelby Valley

In the case of Holmes, I'd take Rice because it would be guard-oriented already with Walls, Beckham, Ferguson, Knowles, and Proffit.

Add Jones of Clark County to your honorable mention, and you got it.

Shelby Valley- Hatfield

Warren Central- Britt

Scott County-Walls

Tilman-Perry

Ferguson-Elliott

I was thinking the same thing. Henderson can play guard or small forward. But I guess Rice would be a better fit.

Hammonds from SL. With knowles, Clark and Cox, JBS, you have plenty of guards. Hammonds is a pure shooter which hard to find.

i woud take Ferguson from Ellliott Co. with Ethan Faulkner right behind him.

Walls from Scott Co.

Stepp from JBS

Knowles from Clark

Hatfield is nice young player for SV and is about 6'5 but in my opinion the best player for SV is hands down freshmen point gaurd Elisha Justice. He has tremendous court presence and high B-ball IQ and most of all he seems to have an old school love for the game.
