awesome display by the Tigers against my alma mater

The thing that you cannot teach:thumb:

Scott Downs-PRP HS and presently with the Toronto Blue Jays

In the projected 2009 lineup the Scheler listed is Kal's younger brother Cody who will be a JR.

Congrats to Kal. I've known him his whole life and you cannot find a finer young man. Very deserving on and off the field and kudos to J & C for raising him so well-I know they are both extremely proud and should be. Looking forward to watching him play at Bellarmine. :thumb: :dancingpa

I can just imagine the crying about the numbers advantage as I read this:D

I know the Colts will have a solid Junior class this Fall, but can anyone provide info on what contributing Seniors they will have? Coach Sander has put alot of sweat and spirit into rebuilding the program and hopefully he will start reaping the rewards

Replacing a Class Act with a Class Act-great move Tigers:thumb:

Bingo!

Congrats to Coach Campbell if this is the direction he feels is best for him and his family. He is a first class guy and I wish him the best.

This is awesome news:thumb: Congrats to both young men.

IMO-there is not a finer man in the building than Coach B. Sad to see his reign end not on his own terms and I would love to see Kevin Klein come in with Coach B as an assistant but I am sure that is unlikely. My son played for Coach Klein at the Freshman level and again IMO, there wasn't a better Frosh or JV coach in town at that time. I had envisioned Coach B. turning the program over to Kevin at some point, but not in this fashion. :irked:

Too bad only a select few (from both camps) have figured this out such as yourself.:thumb:

Creighton and Matt both attended Trinity freshman year before transferring to X. As stated, Creighton was #20 and Matt was #24.

Coach Scroggins has acknowledged the phone call he received from Coach Glaser inviting the Yellowjackets into the Tiger Den.

Congrats Yellowjackets!!! I remember Coach Scroggins went out on a limb when he expressed interest in this job and wasn't treated very well by his former school-I'm tickled to death about what he and the Central players have achieved. :dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa

wow, that comment would have gotten you into hot water with LSURock:lol:

1. Dropped passes. Prone to a couple a game although Have decreased lately. 2. Our offense has been sluggish at times and been bailed out by a big pass play or two that Trinity does not give up very often. 3. Still not a good 3rd and long team. 4. Defense has not played a complete game all year, several blowouts. How will we respond to a couple or more Trinity scores???? 5. Play calling was questionable in 2005 State Game, we stopped running the ball once Curley went down....Must establish the run early and often. 6. Jumping offsides when Trinity mimicks the snap count, ie 2005 and called for against Boone Trinity is well coached and will use our speed against us with Phillips' screens and draws; all he needs is a very small window and he is gone. I refuse to take the bait your guys are offering. I feel we were a couple scores better in 2005 and look what happened....This game will be a battle. Go Tigers Very good points, and in adding to your last 2 statements-people don't realize that in a rivalry this fierce anything can happen on any given night. I felt the 2003 Rocks were at least 10 points better than the Tigers and X was in the game all the way up until the end. IMO-We can forget weaknesses because "strengths" are what got each of these two teams to this point. The parts on these teams are fairly interchangeable with X and T teams of the past, but I will say that two dramatic "strengths" in this matchup are the return of Coach Coverdale to the Rocks and Coach Bill Glaser to the Tigers. With the addition of these two outstanding football minds complimenting the already excellent coaching staff members of both teams I truly look for this to be an epic battle. My hope is for no injuries, especially to the many Seniors of both teams playing possibly their last football game, and a hard fought game. Of course, my selfish side wants nothing more than for the Tigers to bring home the hardware too

Awesome job Tigers-complete the mission and TAKE STATE!!!:dancingpa

I met their Mom thru business when they were in the 7th grade and I remember that T was the only option they were considering-Family ties? It is fun watching those two young men play-ton of talent.

awesome win for the Colts....Congrats and good luck next week.

:lol::lol: I wonder what percentage of BGPer's know who Billy Jack is. He was king for a short while in my teen years and that was a classic line.

Then shouldn't you have said....."you haven't lived and breathed the Trinity system as WE have?":D

Make no mistake.....NOBODY and I mean NOBODY will be able to fill the late LSURock's shoes in terms of Coach Glaser jabbing. Anyone who thinks they can is just a Pretender. I've been chuckling all weekend thinking about what he would have come up with on this one.
