  1. All involved did an excellent job! I enoyed reading about all 6 classes. :thumb:
  2. Jack Hilt (left), a 5’ 11”, 211-pound linebacker for the Tigers, accepted an appointment to the United States Naval Academy. He is a Holy Trinity product and will play linebacker for the midshipmen. Nate Combs, a 6’ 1”, 209-pound linebacker, accepted an appointment to the United States Military Academy, West Point. Combs, a Holy Spirit product, will play linebacker for Army. Source: saintx.com Congratulations and good luck to a pair of Tiger Linebackers
  3. I agree. I think the South Lake Carroll football system in Texas is an example that supports what you are talking about Leatherneck.
  4. Did something happen in the past that required all of these rules/restrictions from the KHSAA?
  5. I believe strength and conditioning ran from January through March. There were several (3 or 4) weeks of spring full contact practices that ended with a spring game against another school. During the summer there was strength and conditioning in the early morning and team practice (helmets and shorts) in the afternoon with 2-3 football camps as a group.
  6. I don’t want to identify the specific school he attends, but let’s just say he is in one of the top five 6A schools.
  7. Is there a KHSAA rule that prevents high school teams from practicing or going to camps as a team during the spring and summer? My son use to practice throughout the spring and summer with his team in Louisiana which I believe made a big difference during the season. I don’t see the same commitment here in Louisville.
  8. How do the Louisville area schools look this year in wrestling?
