I am proud of the way the Greenwave turned their season around. I do not want this to sound like I am disrespecting anyone so please don't take this wrong but, It is hard for a public school to compete with the likes of X and T. We have kids on our team that are in our school district only. As a public school we were playing against kids from all over the state and kids I believe from out of the state. The best of the best. I take nothing from X, they were and are the better team. We can talk about this until our faces turn blue. But everyone must agree that any public school consistantly cannot compete with X & T with the way they pull in players state wide. Greenwave you have nothing to be ashamed of. You gave it your all and that is all anyone can ask of you. Good luck St X and Trinity with what you have you are where you should be. This should be a great game next Saturday. Your Team gave everything they had. You cannot do more than that. YOUr boys should take some solace in the fact they finished the season in the Top 4 of the Largest Division in the State. We will have very little comming back next year with expierience. We lose 21 seniors on a 53 player roster. We will have a strong backfield though. Alex Furnival and Tommy Arnold are junior and seniors respectively. It will be hard to replace JL Cannedy,qb. Chris Roe c,lb. and Nick Stennit te,lb. I should not even metion any names it is unfair to the rest of the seniors but these are the 3 who stand out. We do have alot of size next year . 2 kids 6'2 345 to 350 that are freshman this year. We also have 4 or 5 that go over 250 to 260 that are sophmores. We will just have to waite and see how Coach Mofield and coach Mattingly puts the puzzle together. Thank you guys for the class that you are showing on this thread. our kids are a good bunch that have alot to offer this world after football:thumb::thumb:

I guess your going to have to save us a section at the pizza palace. We almost made it as a family to the last week. But we love high school football and there will be a lot of the Greenwave Nation there to see the final game of the season. Good luck X and T next week and we will see ya'll there.

Tonight would have been a good time to commit a crime in Meade . I even think they let the prisoners at the jail watch themselves like the old Andy Griffith show.
