Did anyone else see the new Tiger sculpture dedicated last night? A St. X alumni was the artist, it was caste in Louisville and a lot of other very special supported it. Wow! St. X is a special community of believers.

2 tough, good running backs (No single back to load up on) and a passing game that you can turn to. Block hard, Run tough, stop the run. Oh yeah - and pass the ball. Duece is only going to get better and as he does, the passing game opens up. Throw in good receivers and a good line. Most will gamble on Defense given the pass / run combination. O-Line picks it up and we score a lot. Defense playing awesome. Stay on your reponsibilities and finish. Great season. Work in those underclassmen. Finish. What an opportunity!

He carried the ball several times tonight. No issues. I want to say 5-7 times for @30 yards. Glad to have him back.

Do I have this right - How does this team compare to the Meade county team st. X faced in the first round of the playoffs in '04 (?). The first drive 80 yards and mostly run. 7-0 Meade county. Then Tronzo and team take over, Big Uglies do their job and final 59-7. Go Tigers. Good job to Meade for getting here and beating Male.

From the KHSAA stats it looks like #3 Marshall cty on the ground a majority of the time? Ht. Wt. running style etc.? #3 against St. X run defense and Marshall County D - line verses St. X O- line? Can Marshall Cty win the line battle (St. X football)?

Who Wins and why for State 2008?

Assumption Wins!! Mercy and NDA played tough but #14 is in the books. Mercy had a fine year. They beat Assumption at home during the season! That's having a good year. It's too bad they can't change things so SHA could be a part of the tournament. All fine teams. Today KIVA tryouts start. No rest for Louisville volleyball.

The speed of play I think affects the officiating. If you are not used to it, you can slow down the game, calls are made seconds slow, subsitutions slow, more questioning between the refs etc. The final game offical at the net has officiated many games at speed and it showed in how well he called and controlled the game.

St. X snaps one over the head of the punter and gets tackled at the one yard line. TD Crimsons - one yard drive. The ST.X penalty yardage helped keep M in the game. One St.X TD was called back on a penalty. St.X defense came up with a couple of big stops. Offense had a few big plays and ran out the clock late. A win is a win. Manuel is a good team. St.X could play much better, especially on Offense and special teams. A win none the less. Moving on. It was nice to be back at the old stadium.

Assumption is the favorite for many good reasons. There are many other good teams including Mercy and Sacred Heart that could beat Assumption. Will they? IMO - no. Too much talent and tradition.

That's sounds like a great idea. I listen to every game I can and the level of professionalism is there. I also would like a few more minutes at the end for more wrap up after the game. I do my part, listen to the sponsors and have made decisions on that as I looked around for services.

Goal line stand against Male, 1st and goal from the 2. Tronzo's senior year. Male tried to run the ball inside 3 times and three times Tronzo and company stopped them. A 4th down rollout pass went incomplete. The point? I saw all this from the endzone fence 12 yards away! If only the new stadium could match that! Like the endzone at John Hardin - right on the back of the endzone. I love Manual stadium.
