Saint X Linebackers Hilt and Combs Accept Navy and Army Appointments

[Louisiana Joe]

Jack Hilt (left), a 5’ 11”, 211-pound linebacker for the Tigers, accepted an appointment to the United States Naval Academy. He is a Holy Trinity product and will play linebacker for the midshipmen.

 

Nate Combs, a 6’ 1”, 209-pound linebacker, accepted an appointment to the United States Military Academy, West Point. Combs, a Holy Spirit product, will play linebacker for Army.

Jack Hilt is one of the best kids I have ever coached on and off the field. He comes from an outstanding family too! This is music to my ears! I can't say enough how proud I am of him and congrats to Nate too!

I think it is a great compliment to St. X that these young men are mindful enough to go to the service academies knowing that they will have to serve their country after four years of higher learning.
