In the Bowling Green vs McCracken County game the refs called three ineligible man downfield flags in the first half. I don't remember seeing any the entire season. There were so many that it slowed down the game.

Right on cue John Hardin starts playing good football. It seems like every year they are the most improved team in the state. Good coaching pays off!

What about Johnson Central? Oh! They got clobbered 41-0 by 3A Belfry? Nevermind.

I thought the Mustangs played well, but couldn't keep up with Bowling Green's offense. McCracken County's defense is not very good. I see why they have given up a lot of points this season. I think the officiating was terrible for both teams. I don't know where they were from but they called three ineligible man downfield flags in the first half. I can't remember three of those called all season. Purples played well tonight, but gave up too many yards.

McCracken County is not as fast as Bowling Green. McCracken County's schedule is the only reason they are 8-1. They lost to 3A Paducah Tilghman. They've given up a ton of points to a weak schedule. The Purples have lost 3 games in the last 5 years. The list goes on and on.

I'm with you Jumper! Pulaski will dominate this game. I don't see anyone in the east that PC can't beat by 20.

This is one of the best Greenwood teams in years. Coach Seabolt has turned the Gators into contenders. Gator Qb Jackson Adams gave the Purples fits last yesr and he was a freshman. He's even better this year. This game will be closer than most think. Purples 35-14

This will be Coach Griffith's first trip back to El Donaldson Stadium, since the former Purple defensive coordinator left to take over the Boone County Program. That didn't work out too well for him and he decided to come home and take over at Barren County. It will not be a very good homecoming for him. Purples 49-7

Lets be honest, no one in the east has a realistic chance to beat Pulaski County. I'm with PP92. Nobody within three touchdowns of the Maroons.

The west will dominate the other three regions.

That happens when there is a running clock in the first half. The only team that has a shot at South Warren is Johnson Central in the finals.

Lexington Catholic is having a rare down year. Boyle County has been rolling along all season. This one won't be close. Boyle 42-14

Unless Mr. Crider is coming back and suiting up for the game, Owensboro will win by 35. If Crider shows up, Graves County will only lose by 21.

You can't ever count out John Hardin. It seems like John Hardin always starts out slow, but by playoff time, they are always clicking. Nobody wants to play them in the playoffs. I too, expect John Hardin and South Warren fighting it out for a ticket to the finals. I expect a much better game than their first meeting.

I was at the Blackmon game. I sent my wife and smaller kids home at halftime because I thought there was going to be a riot. Their coaches, players and fans acted like a bunch of wild animals. There were threats made during and after the game about the return trip to Murfreesboro the next year. The superintendent and school board made the decision not to play that game and I agree with them. We beat McCallie on their field in a thriller and they were unbelievably classy. A few weeks later, Blackmon rolls into town with their Alabama, Tennessee, ect... recruits, thinking they were gonna steamroll the Purples and they didn't like the results. I've never seen a team or fan base come unglued like them. They got exactly what they deserved.

I heard Coach Wallace is staying until Bowling Green has twice as many state championships as Highlands and Trinity. He's in no rush.

Owensboro has one of the best all around teams in the state. If they are clicking, Christian County will lose big. If they have an off night, CC has a chance. The Red Devils don't lose many games at Rash Stadium. It's time to get that machine rolling, if they want to be ready for that Bowling Green rematch in the Region Finals. I hope both make it that far. It will be a war!

The one consistent thing about these Western Kentucky Power Rankings is Purple88. He has went out of his way to be fair. He calls them like he sees them. Some Purple fans, including me, were shocked when he dropped Bowling Green to #4 after the St. X game, but he was right. He has been spot on every week. I look forward to seeing his take on western kentucky football every week. Keep up the good work, sir.

Greenwood has never beaten the Purples since the school opened in 1991. Ask your buddy if he's got room for one more. Just in case!

Sooner or later they will work out a fair deal. There's only a couple of teams that the Purples won't schedule and they are because the coaches don't care for each other. I hope this isn't the case, because if they make it personal, Coach Wallace will never schedule them.

The litkenhous rating doesn't even have Pulaski County ranked in the top 20 teams in Kentucky. Ridiculous!!! Pulaski County wins this 35-21.
