This will be Coach Griffith's first trip back to El Donaldson Stadium, since the former Purple defensive coordinator left to take over the Boone County Program. District, and almost certainly will always be district. If there were four classes then maybe it wouldn't be, as there were stretches that they weren't back then.

I was told that Jordan Merideth (WKU commit) is out 3 weeks with a finger injury. So with this news, I fully expect Coach Wallace to play it safe the next few weeks to be healthy going into the playoffs.

Don't think I would go quite that far, but you are right in saying it makes no sense. Purples have nothing to gain here and everything to lose. One of those deals where you have to play someone. Unfortunately for Barren, its them.
