It may be a little early to post but the early bird gets the worm.

Although most believe the Purples will keep their unbeaten streak alive vs the Gators, those same fans are impressed with the Gators record this year. With Coach Seabolt on the sidelines for the Gators does he have any advantage with him being a former assistant under Wallace.

Purples will be in for a long week of practice due to their lackadaisical approach against Barren County.

I say Purples refocus and let their aggression out at the Swamp Friday night.

Purple train is rolling Friday Night ...

Purples. 52

Gators 6

This is one of the best Greenwood teams in years. Coach Seabolt has turned the Gators into contenders. Gator Qb Jackson Adams gave the Purples fits last yesr and he was a freshman. He's even better this year. This game will be closer than most think. Purples 35-14

The scary thing is, Greenwood looks really good in the run game. I wouldn't have had any doubts with BG's ability to score until J. Merideth got hurt. Last night, it was obvious BG's ability to run the ball is scarce. I see this in a close game.

BG: 35

GW:24

Yeah, that pesky inability to run is so obvious. 6.1 yards per carry.

Play solid assignment defense and stop the the Greenwood running attack cold. Play sloppy defense, line up wrong, and ignore your reads and the Gators will pile up rushing yards.

BG will do the former and it will not be close.

Run the clock, BG will roll
