John Hardin 38 Christian County 26

Featured Replies

I was looking forward to this game just to see how much JH improved vs better competition. They are much better now than earlier in the year. Totally different team. Running game has really improved. Still have work to do passing and defending the pass, but they are getting primed for a run.

ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. — Six different Bulldogs combined for 55 carries and 398 yards Friday night, as John Hardin’s dangerous Wing-T offense was virtually unstoppable in a 38-26 win over Christian County. This clip was from the Kentucky New Era in Hopkinsville. I'm not a member so I can't post the rest of the article. I would like to read the quotes from Coach Lovelace.

Didn't say they weren't. SW is the best team in 4A. Nobody is arguing that.

August is the time to play John Hardin! The closer to Thanksgiving it gets the harder out they are! This year will be no different!

Congradulations to John Hardin.. Very disappointed loss for the Colonels. Hope you guys do well in the playoffs.

Good win for John. Now on to Franklin County.

Not even as close as the score indicates, John was ahead 38-14 with about 6:00 left, Christian County scored 2 late touchdowns.

Good year for the colonels but it will be over in 2 weeks vs bg. I thought they would be 5-5 so.a.good year as they will.end 8-4 with some questionable decisions

This is what concerns me going forward. Up 38-14 and with all the momentum JH should have closed the game out. Instead CC scores in 3 plays, scores again, and JH fumbles the ball with just over 2:00 left in the game. The defense held but it never should have come to that. They may get away with this the next few weeks but a team like SW will make them pay if they let up at all.

Jam you actually predicated 4-6 at the start of the year in the Christian County 2015 thread.. Don't think the Cololels are ready to concede the year just yet. I really believe we can play with BG. Last night was disappointing I agree. Couple of costly turnovers really hurt last night and not seeing the wing-t in several years kept the time of possission in the Bulldogs favor. Just could not stop the run!!

Congratulations to the JH boys, great win!

Hope so but beating the Purples in BG WILL BE TOUGH. I DID NOT think they would beat caldwell but they did so it has been a good season

CC has nothing for BG !BG way to physical and this is by far one of BG less physical teams they have had in a while .it just seems like teams from the far west are soft (except MF).that is why I will take Warren Central over Htown and Greenwood over whoever they play first round .
