You're right there. How did I screw that up, one of the bets games in CFB history. All but one games during the season were double digits, that being the one. I agree with the rest. I hope to just get through this season, gain experience, win any bowl game, and look forward to the future. It's now 16 of 18 TD's scored by true FR and SO. Niiiiice. Clausen can certainly throw the bowl. Weis said his favorite pass he's made all season was the 3 yard pass to Allen, which he took for the TD. It shows that Clausen went through his checks instead of just throwing the longball like he's wanted to do all year.

Sounds like the same % as the makeup .....ahhh, never mind. But I think the first trial had nothing to do with this result. There was a lot of evidence in this case. The problem is that OJ thinks he is above the law, because of the first trial, and the civil trial. Yes, he lost that one, but still isn't paying the money he was ordered too. That's if you don't lose earlier in the playoffs. That's what I mean by guaranteed. As hard as it is to believe, X and T aren't guaranteed their spot in the finals. They have to win a few games to get there. I have to have next years vacations in by the end of this month. If I lived out of town, I would know for a fact they will face each other during the season next year, not so much in the playoffs.

Final. Rebel, you asked a question in the update thread before it was closed: "Why is the attendance more than when these two teams play for the State Title? I would think the State Championship game would have been higher in attendance." The answers are many. 1) Mainly, this game date is set in stone every year, and folks plan vacations to come back to Louisville to see it. The playoff games are not guaranteed, and I don't know if dates are set a year ahead. Military set their leave to see the game, some parachial schools close early too. 2) Weather is better, and more condusive for tailgaiting. It's really a lot like a reunion in the parking lot. 3) It's a self fullfilling prophecy, this 1st game. Because the crowds are big, more want to be part of it, which makes the crowds bigger. 4) There are many public school kids here too. The boys are there for the girls, and vice versa. 5) It's the first meeting since the previous seasons meeting in the playoff, and people look for to the 1st meeting.

Honestly, as a ND fan, I will even admit SOS is less than spectacular this year, though I haven't seen the number. Not all their fault, as some of the stronger teams are down. But I think they have dumbed it down a little this year, maybe due to a young team. But I know the anti ND crowd has ALWAYS said ND plays a weak schedule. Even when they won their last championship in '88 it was said. Even though they did beat the #1,2, 3 and 5 teams at the times they played them, all by double digits. They were #4 BTW. So, I have become immune to the SOS argument, and the not playing in a league argument etc. Their schedule will pick up soon, with OU, UM, and USC on the schedule in a few years. Plus the bottom feeders like Stanford and NC are making a resurgence.

Independant. I change my registration to Dem or Rep as needed depending on local elections. Independants unfortunately have no voice when registered as Independant. They cannot vote for D/R in primaries, which is a joke. I have tried to explain to election officials that I should be able to vote in both R/D primaries since I am Ind. I'll never have any faith in politics until ther eis a third alternative. I'm more Libertarian than anything.

I'm surprised UM v Illinois is that close. I chalked the UM win over the Badgers as a fluke.

I'm optimistic for the Irish. Maybe not this season, but soon. I hope for 7-8 wins plus bowl game. 12 of their 14 TD's this season are by FR and SO, none of the redshirt variety. Tate and Floyd on the ends, Rudolph at TE, who just became more important since the starter will likely be kicked out of school for his drinking violation. Armando Allen finally getting some holes when the OL put together a decent 2nd half, and you see what he can do with his 4.3 speed. He broke his leg his senior year and missed the whole season and was not fully recovered until this season. Some of that in his head I believe. They have some nasty young guys on defense like Brian Smith and Ethan Johnson. Brian is the heart and soul, and Ethan in his first start put serious pressure on the QB, but no sacks. Then Blanton showed why he is so special with the INT TD return weaving through nearly the entire Purdue FB team. Sure, they are getting schooled by experienced players, but they show occassions of brilliance. Once they learn the position better, after so much schooling, they should be much better next season.

Didn't read all this post, nor do I have an iPhone. But every time I look at phones, they are always have the worst reviews on the market. A lot of folks love them, but a lot of folks despise them as well. When they konk out, they do it in a major way, plus the manufacturers haven't been great in helping out the customer. They have the ability to track where your phone is if it is stolen, using their GPS, but they refuse to do so. There is/was a class action lawsuit on this issue, since it is the phone most likely to be stolen, but I don't know the status of that case. You think they'd help you get it back, but I guess they want you buying another one. Having said all that, they look cool as heck, and I'd be interested if I needed all that stuff.

Airtran is a great airline. My cousin is a captain for them. However, remember that you need to park your car at an out of town lot, the fees can add up. Some charge up to $9 a day to park a car. Plus it's a hassle. $378 is a little high, but I have heard prices will be going up a great deal by the end of the year. It may be a gamble if you wait.

On one hand, it's the first game that really doesn't matter, so that gives the edge to St X. :mad: But after seeing Trinity vs Cincy X, they seem to be further along with their schemes than they normally are when we face them. Their defense is very fast and their D line ran through Cincy X OL like water through a seive. Hopefully all those 300 pounders were just slow and our OL will fare much better. After seeing several X games, I still don't know where we stand. I can't get a handle on the substitution patterns used so far with the QB and RB. I don't know what we'll do in a close game. Not playing Male really hurt us I think. I'm pulling hard for X and assume we'll win every game, but I'm not sure how to call this one yet. On paper, Trinity has the edge based on who they've got coming back and who they've beat. But we did just route the #3 team in Manual 57-0, sooooo.

Final! Tried to get the final in the updates before it was locked, but X added a late TD on a pitch to Chase Carraro that went for 61 yards down the sideline.
