I don't wish a hurricane on anyone but I do love when weather systems push in from the east and give us a nice, steady rain in NKY, it doesn't get much better than that. We host a marching band competition Saturday. This is our major fundraiser for a trip to DC next Memorial Day...it can DEFINETLY can get better than that. Been watching the Weather Channel and learned how the Tampa area does it. I just Zone A is mandatory and Zone B is optional. I'm sure that will change. Regardless, stay safe! I just purchased a new place 3 miles from Indian Rocks Beach. We would have been evacuated, but we have not moved into the new place, yet. Still fixing it up and are currently staying with my sister who lives next door to where we used to live in the Westchase/Citrus Park area of Tampa. .

swamprat
I am doing final prep work here at my primary employer. Tropical storm force winds are not expected to reach here until 2am tomorrow. I have to come back here around 11 this evening to get the local backup drives after incrementals are completed. We have everything in the cloud, but we maintain a local backup just incase we can't get to the cloud for some reason or another.

Got the storm shutters in place, though it looks like Ian will make landfall south of us, now. I am working today, hunkered in at home. nWo, you may want to post a new track. I just checked the NHC and it is up to 155 mph, 1 mph short of category 5.
