Science Friction
Make a trip to Winchester and I will make plenty for you and a bunch to take home. I think what makes mine so good is the fresh lettuce from my garden. You just can't buy anything like it at the grocery store. I come to Winchester about once every eight weeks... Just sayin'. Content1
Hibachi at Fuji Steakhouse in Florence. Enjoyed a solid business meeting, good food, and was entertained with flying kitchen utensils and volcanic onions. :thumb:

mcpapa
Ate at Angie's Cast Iron Grill in Paintsville on Tuesday, right next to the city golf course. Greens, sauerkraut and wieners, soup beans and cornbread, salmon patty and home fries with onions. Iced tea. Eleven bucks plus tip. The home fries were the best I've ever eaten. True blue (and gold)
Fresh greens out of my garden and a few tomatoes that I could also find. Pork T and cottage cheese. gold sunrise
Goldie, I would like to have your wilted lettuce recipe. I have 2, a healthy one and a not so healthy one....:lol2: NOT healthy. Cut up your leaf lettuce, big bowl full and ad about 1 cup of green onions then sprinkle with white vinegar. Fry about 6-8 pieces of bacon. Pour the hot bacon grease over the lettuce, crumble the fried bacon over the lettuce and enjoy. Healthy version. Fix the lettuce the same way except heat 1/2 C of very strong chicken broth and pour over the lettuce. This is good and healthier for you, but not as good as the old country version..IMO. We eat both.
mcpapa
Not familiar with this what is it? Cured and smoked pork shoulder. Pretty much always goes in our green beans and often in our soup beans.
