UKMustangFan
My grandma, 86, is in hospice care, and on her last leg. Hospice workers told my mom and her siblings yesterday that the end is near, and she hasn't eaten or drank anything in 3-4 days. I stopped by the nursing home last night to say goodbye. It's pretty rough for me. Both my grandpa's had passed before I was born, and my Dad's mom died when I was just 11 and was sick for years before that, so Grams has pretty much been the grandparent my entire life. She's the most stubborn, hard-headed woman I've ever been around and I love her for it. My mom is the 3rd of 6 kids, and her dad died in a car accident when she was only 7. Grams still somehow managed to put all six kids through 12 years of Catholic education, all while working as a cafeteria worker. Her love of the Reds has never wavered. I really wish they could've won one more for her. I ask if you can please keep her and my family in your thoughts and prayers.
