Kansas State fans pin Bill Self, check Kansas player during court storm

One of these days, someone will get seriously injured, or worse! Home team fans storm the court? Home team forfeits game, all students who storm the court automatically out of school for awhile, if they are on some type of scholarship then they lost it. Enact this, and you won't see this again.

At least the idiot in the blue cape that hit Jamari Traylor did it right in front of a cop, hopefully he was arrested.

I have been on this mission for years. The analogy I make is that this is one of those dangerous, blind spot type intersections out in the country. Very seldom are there times when there are two cars at the intersection at the same time, but each time it is a near crash. Then a fatal accident occurs and money goes towards it to fix the situation.

We know. It's just the kids having fun.....

Anyone see the Kansas assistant put the fan in a chokehold as he was taunting players? Saw that gem floating on Twitter.

@Wireman, Jeff Van Gundy said something pretty similar this morning. Basically said he didn't realize how bad it was until he was calling a college game this year and the fans rushed the floor. Said it was, "Scary".

Now to come to the defense of that phrase, there are two distinct arguments when it comes to whether or not students rush the floor: 1) safety of the people involved and 2) whether or not "dignity" or "pride" demands that people not rush the floor.

The first I'm on board with; players, coaches, and the students themselves need to be protected from the harm that is sure to come from one of these things eventually.

The second is one that people around here are strangely fond of: the notion of whether or not a program is "above" rushing the floor or whether a situation properly warrants a court rush based on the level of the program involved. That's the most pointless, asinine argument in the world. In that case, yeah, it's just college kids who don't care whether the program is above floor rushes.

What happens when someone gets in the face of one of the opposing players, and said player knocks that person out? Would said player be in big time trouble?

Of course. It happened last season with New Mexico State. A situation that was bad which could have much worse.
