Great pics paNDA

Those Wiggins pictures reminds me of myself on an eight foot basket.

My friend, he could have dunked the ball in a 12 foot basketball..... The kid was amazing in the air but in all honestly, he had a off night shooting from the floor!

I really think CovCath will do well in the post-season. I believe we will see a Holmes vs CovCath match in the district finals and maybe regional final.

One game at a time and Ryle is up next in a triple header Saturday 1-26 with the Frosh game tip-off at 4:30pm.

BTW Nick Ruthsatz should or I at least hope join the 1000 point club at CovCath Saturday vs. Ryle. Nick R needed 23 entering this game and netted 10 leaving him just 13 shy of entering this exclusive club!

BTW, the "Free Fred" cheer was heard from the Crazies in attendance at Withrow Friday night and indeed Fred will be free and will be able to play Saturday in the CovCath vs. Ryle game on Saturday!

Two true stories....

We were setting up for doing the stats for the game tonight when (I can only assume a newspaper writer from the Huntington area) ask if we were doing the stats for all of the games? When told we were doing only the CovCath vs. Withrow game his face got a bit dejected and ask could we be talked into doing them for the Hunington game. When we told him no, he told us CovCath was very lucky to have such a nice set up...and wished more school would do stats like we do for not only our team but the press as well.

Later after our game was over, I was standing near the court watching the next game with paNDA when the Withrow Coach came over and we started talking about the game. He ask paNDA what NKy newspaper he was shooting for and when paNDA told him, he was just a fan of NKy sports and especially CovCath, the Withrow Coach just shook his head and told paNDA and I how lucky CovCath was to have such a nice setup with the stats and pictures. paNDA gave the coach one of his cards and told him to look at the pictures and see which ones he liked and then use them, as he never charges for his shots. The Withrow Coach just shook his head and again said CovCath is so lucky to have such great people who love the program and the school....

Indeed CovCath is very lucky to have someone like paNDA come to so many of our games....

Thanks again and again my friend!

Clyde, do you think Fredrick is more productive than heppler? Seems to me heppler needs more shot attempts...Montgomery and with row 5 threes in each game...:someone needs to get that shooter the ball!

I do have to hand it to you TOG you guys doing those stats are on it for sure. You have a nice system.

Panda also does the NKY sports fans a tremendous service as well. Kudos

We have a dad of a former player at Highlands who still comes to games and takes great pics and shares them with us, it is awesome.

I know that kid (Heppler) was the BEST 3 pt shooter on Highlands scouting report according to my son. Kid looks like he needs to be getting more looks. Nice resource to have especially when teams limit Ruthsatz offensive penetrstion.

According to their maxpreps site, Withrow is pretty good. This is likely a good showing for Covington Catholic. Still some very thin skin in this thread. I think CovCath is a serious contender in this region. Well coached and tough.

Two different players IMO. Fred used to just be a 3-pt specialist but this year has gone back to being aggressive going to the rim and using the pull-up. Heppler needs that but doesn't have the handle that Fred does. To be honest Hepp hasn't been shooting well until recently. Glad to see it as he was hitting shots at the end of last season. If he continues his stroke you can actually have times where both Fred and Hepp play.

Plus, add in that Fred is much better defensively. Fred will and should play a lot of minutes.

Heppler his shooting 56% from behind the arc. And thanks for all the love for the radio guys.
