I find this to be disturbing.

I'm sure Obama supporters will say its not a big deal, or that Fox News is making this an issue when it should be irrelevent. Either way, I don't care for them changing the American flag...not one bit.

But it's not an American flag. It's an Obama flag.

 

Now if he had his face in the 50 stars I'd be a little concerned.

 

Or better yet, if he said this is the new American flag I'd be concerned. I'm not going to be concerned about a non authentic rendition of an American flag used for campaigning.

The Obama campaign should have left the flag idea alone.

 

1. He creates a Flag influenced by the American flag and he gets the feelings of Michael Corleone and MJ who find his American Flag influenced idea 'disturbing'.

 

2. If he creates a flag that isn't influenced by the American Flag then he isn't patriotic and he doesn't care about America. There's his socialist flag is what the haters would say.

 

3. If he uses the authentic American Flag then the haters will say "he's not representing my America and how dare he take my American flag to use it. Hell, he's from Kenya!!!"

 

He can't win. He should have left the flag idea alone.

If you support the President then this is no big deal, if you don't then it's distasteful.

 

Either way it is much to do about nothing.

I'm just not seeing distasteful. The only distasteful flag Romney could fly is the Confederate flag. I could careless what kind of flag he used for his campaign. He can fly a flag similar to Obama's and throw an elephant where the stars should be. It still won't be a big deal.

 

Why can't either campaign fly a flag for their campaign? And when they make up a flag why can't it be a take off of the American flag? What kind of flag is acceptable?

I don't think anyone on here would think that it would be racist...a better question would be would it be perceived outside of the BGP world as racist by the Media or left wing talking heads.

I have no problem with an American flag shirt. If it has the ghosts busters circle around it I would take issue.
