Michael Corleone
Not to me but I'm sure to some it would.

PurplePride92
Just a question...Would someone burning the Obama flag be thought of as a racist? It's not a real flag. Who cares who burns it? And no, they wouldn't be racist. They'd be republicans.
PurplePride92
So, how has the last 4 worked out? Just sayin... My last four years have been awesome and I'll make more money this year than I ever had in my life which keeps my streak of the last four years of financial prosperity intact. I'm doing excellent. And before you try to say the country isn't doing better to back and read what I said and read what you bolded and my concern with Romney is how will his attempts to fix the USA going to affect me and my money. If I make less next year, I'm blaming him. Period.
PurplePride92
I don't think anyone on here would think that it would be racist...a better question would be would it be perceived outside of the BGP world as racist by the Media or left wing talking heads. Depends on who they catch burning it.
PurplePride92
I have no problem with an American flag shirt. If it has the ghosts busters circle around it I would take issue. What if it gets a hole in it? Of if it gets burnt or stained accidentally?
PurplePride92
Would burning the flag be unpatriotic? Not a chance. Not even a crime. That'd be like me burning a Romney poster. Big deal.
Michael Corleone
What if it gets a hole in it? Of if it gets burnt or stained accidentally? To me it's a shirt with a picture of the flag on it, the shirt is not the flag. That's just my way of looking at it.

Michael Corleone
But this is not a flag. This is just like a shirt to me. It's changing the American Flag or depicting it in a different manner. I just find it alarming that a presidential canidate would place his "logo" on the flag. I think it tells you alot about this president. If it doesn't bother you I respect that.

And to be perfectly clear it wouldn't bother me if Romney had done the same. It's not the American flag to me. The American flag has 13 stripes and 50 stars. There is only 1 version of it and the Obama flag just shares a similar design to it but it is not the American flag or any kind of representation of it by any stretch of my imagination. PurplePride92
These are flags that represent countries that are similar to the American flag. Any beef with them? Similar flags to the American Flag « What on EARTH is that flag?
