Trinity avenges an earlier season loss to Male to win their 26th State Football Championship.

Trinity LB Brandon Stearman had a pick 6 in the 2nd quarter to put the Shamrocks ahead 7 to 0.

Trinity took the opening kickoff of the second half and scored their second TD on a Brad West run to make it 14 to 0.

VJ Anthony had a clutch catch and run for a Male TD to make it 14 to 6 midway through the 3rd Q.

Trinity WR Ryan Miller scored on a long TD pass from Trinity QB Nathan McElroy to put the Shamrocks up 21 to 6 to start the 4th quarter. McElroy was standing four yards deep in his own end zone and threw a perfect pass to Miller.

Trinity finished the scoring with a McElroy to Kaelan Racculia TD pass with 619 left in the game.

Congrats Shamrocks! Congrats Coach Beatty!

Congratulations Rocks! I love it when all of the so called media experts are wrong. Rocks now reigning State Champs in football, basketball, tennis and cross country. So proud to be a Rock Alumni. Another good game between the Big 2. Already looking forward to have Male at Marshall Stadium next season. Now to enjoy #26 for awhile. Go Rocks!

Penalties really hurt Trinity's drives in the first half. T had little trouble running the ball often getting 7-8-9 yards on first down plays. T's defense held Male to about 150 yards in total offense and except for about 2 passes and 2 runs was able to limit Male's chunk plays. Every time Male has the ball, you hold your breath because you know they can score from anywhere on the field. I thought Coach Beatty came in with a great plan on O and D and his players executed it well.

Major difference with Brad West in the second game!!

Total domination on the O-Line and D-Line!! MVPS!!

GO ROCKS!!

I think the line play was the most surprising thing about this game

Trinity totally controlled both lines of scrimmage all day long!
