Who Would You Like To See as the New Reds Manager?

Riggleman is the guy for the rest of this season, but who does everyone want to see as the "boss" on a permanent basis starting next season?

My heart says Larkin, my head says Girardi.

Girardi would be my top choice in a landslide.

Girardi would be the most logical choice IMO, but I'm intrigued by some "newer" options like Vizquel or a guy like Mark McGwire (although there's reports that he's content to be a coach and has no interest in managing).

I voted for Girardi. Wouldn’t mind Farrell either.

Vizquel has been coaching since 2013. Managing in the minors the last couple seasons.

Vizquel was part of a big league coaching staff for 5 seasons and is currently managing a minor league club. Larkin's coaching experience is pretty much just from the WBC.

I don't think Vizquel played with the Big Red Machine or the 1990 team is the only difference, along with some coaching and managing experience

Seriously, I think he'd be a fantastic manager down the road if he ever wanted to do it.

It will be Larkin, I want Baker.

It should be between Larkin and Girardi. Both know the game well. Who will sell more tickets.

One caveat with Girardi is part of the reason he was let go in NY is believed to be his poor communication and handling of younger players. If true, clearly not an ideal fit with what Cincinnati is going to be going through.
