You can also see the first KFC before you cross over the bridge into Corbin. But the KFC is in Laurel Co, and not Corbin.

I do know who would love to see this game. The Big Dipper. A radio personality from Hazard who died about 15yrs ago. Always called Beechwood, Beechnut and the place they are from the Triangle. Some of you may remember him.

No they will not get a fair shake. It’s not like those officials will ever see the people from Beechwood again and most officials live in or close to Corbin and know their coaches personally. I don’t think the refs are going to go into the game to cheat, but the old saying goes you could call a hold everytime, well don’t be shocked to see a few. I guess home teams should get benefit of doubt. Hopefully no injuries.

Beechwood, Hazard, Pikeville. Those 3 could beat the rest of 1A.

Corbin has the best of the best. Skill kids everywhere. 3 sets of new helmets and may bring out the chrome for this game. Basically a small college team number wise.

Beechwood will have a tough time at Corbin, very hard place to go into and win. If coming south be prepared for lots of construction on I75.

I’m not shocked. It’s not like they are playing some cupcake teams. Those teams are really good and would be the dominant team in Ky if they were here. Trinity ain’t God, they are beatable. I think it’s a disservice to the other teams and coaches to assume Trinity should win.

Why didn’t they play? Every team in Lexington played! IMO Harlan Co just didn’t want to take another loss.

I agree but you get to the real rural areas in SE Ky and its easy to draw a check instead of work.

I work with kids everyday too and 100% stand by what I say. I hear the kids talking about it all the time. Their parents teach them to scam the system.

There are TONS of kids nowdays. More than ever. Kids are too sorry to do stuff, they would rather go home and do nothing because its hard to do something and easy to do nothing. They also learn that from their parents. A lot of kids want to be artist like their parents and DRAW A CHECK. They definetly are taught that by their parents.

Well I have to respectfully disagree. Lazy is still there, and may just add in they are too sorry to do anything.

Leslie Co is about as bad as is gets.

Football had 500 less kids. Thats not much considering if you take about 3 off of each team in KY. A down year for Trinity and St. X can about account for that.
