I’ve heard Steve Wright has interviewed or applied. If he is selected then Mason Co basketball will do great and those kids who play basketball and football will have to choose which sport to play. He does not let or want basketball kids playing football.

June 18 to July 16 would be a good time to be off. Let kids be kids and if they don’t know how then they need time to figure it out during this time. Kids are not being punished with time off. They can do push-ups and sit ups like a guy named Herschel Walker, worked out good for him.

You cant take the whole monthy of June off for the following reason. Some schools are still in session and wouldnt that be a violation if some schools had in school weights, track, baseball, softball, tennis?

Dead period also deals with middle school kids who play summer baseball and do like to be at home since they just got out of school. Give society a break, it’s already so fast paced it’s not funny. Plus it’s not like the state is churning out pro athletes at a high rate.

True, but dont punish kids who can do stuff and dont live in a bad neighborhood.

I agree. I say it should be at least 25 days. Kids and coaches need a break from each other.

When school is out prices hit their peak anyway. There is no cheap time in June or July to vacation.

I like ice cream too, but I don’t like it when it’s melted and on a stale cone. It’s getting to the point of a safety issue if HS football will be able to survive in the future. Kids get a chance to heal up and play at a higher level and be fresher. You can play same dist games and same amount of playoffs.

No Kids, parents, families, coaches need a break. It at least allows for people to take a vacation in same time frame so you don’t have kids missing at different times.

I say play 8 games for regular season and 2 bye games. Expand dead period.

UK just got a LB coach. Stoops was all over this guy abothow good he was/is. If so why couldnt this guy keep him.
