36th District Final: Wildcats pull off the upset led by 8th grade pitcher Shawn Klaas. Sophomore Willie Price singled in Hesch for the game winning run in the bottom of the 8th. Great game by both teams and good luck in regionals. The all tournament team consisted of Tony Mayes of Bellevue, Dale Ferrel of Dayton, Jared Harris of NewCath, Allen and Rawlings of Highlands, and Pat Klaas, JJ Hesch, and the MVP was Shawn Klaas.

He is but i'm not sure when he will be officially named he announced it the other day in his gym class mostly consisting of football players.

I'm about 95% sure the head coach was chosen today as Coach Hyder he is a great guy and will be a wonderful fit.

Coach Slone is not only a great coach but is an amazing person to be around. She will have success no matter where she goes in her future. She did the best job possible with the hand she was dealt and I have the utmost respect for Melissa.

Final. Covcath comes away with the W led by Bovard and Grimes. Highlands had multiple opportunites but simply couldn't capitalize. A 35th district rematch is now in place.

Final. I believe Rice led Holmes in scoring with 21 and Lenhof carried St. Henry. On to the finals for the Bulldogs hopefully these boys will get back to Rupp.

Congratulations to the Lady Bulldogs they've had the pieces of a strong team all year its a matter of putting it together. How did Weaver do for Holmes she is a gamer.

Maybe next year Notre Dame's seniors have kicked it into high gear and there is no looking back they'll win by 15+

Congrats to the Pandas Nicole and Emily were phenomenol tonight. Good luck the rest of the region and hopefully you'll be representing us down state.

Big win for my Wildcats on Senior Night. They will surely be missed the this years seniors include JJ Hesch, Josh Tolson, Ozzy McIntosh, and Justin Jones. I believe McIntosh led the Wildcats in scoring with a career high 33 points. Tolson added 12 with Jones contributing 16 points.

For the 9th its definitely Holmes back at full strength and now on a 5 game winning streak.

For the Bulldog faithful you'd like to see Holmes win by a bit more but this is a tough win and a good step towards building team chemistry to win the region

Sadly but true we sometimes forget that O.J. is put under pressure no other teen could ever imagine performing under this really puts it all into perspective for myself.

Herky's mother never did move into Ohio when he attended Winton Woods and Taft. From my memory an uncle gained custody so he could legally begin playing basketball at Winton Woods. Also yes grades were the reason he is now attending Prep School he had to hit the books in a more serious matter so he can play at a big time program in the near future.

Newports biggest loss would have to be their 3 year starting QB JJ Hesch. Even though his performance wasn't as stellar as previous years whoever steps in at QB for the Wildcats will have big shoes to fill.

Last I heard Herky was attending Patterson Prep School in Lenoir, North Carolina. He is a big time player and will eventually go D1.

Must be a improved Sacred Heart team after Notre Dame handled them easily last season by about 15.
